Review Time
Like everyone else, I have been scammed by this bunch of crooks. On paying the first ‘special’ payment of £1.99. Straight away I felt uneasy about this company and tried to contact them by phone (don’t bother, you can’t). I did send them many emails to refuse the ‘special offer’ (which is bate to draw you into giving them your details). This morning I checked my bank account and a pending payment of £9.99 was showing. I have been onto my bank to see if I can stop the payment but during that time the payment had gone through 🤬😡. The bank say it is too early to do anything about the ‘fraudulent’ payment and to contact them later. Not very happy with that either.
I have been using TotalAV for 3 years. This past year, they auto-charged me $119.00 without notice. When I tried to cancel, there was no one to complain to. They have me down for 9 licenses. Now nothing works, and I still can't even get anyone to respond.
It worked well for a while and then it didn’t and they had no idea how to fix it so I canceled my subscription then three weeks later another years subscription was debited from my credit card. They offer zero technical or customer service after they have your money… looks like I’ll have to cancel this credit card to stop these scammers, it’s sad when the people you trust to help you stop getting scammed are scamming you.BE WARNED
Product itself isn’t bad, but what you need to be careful with is how they sneak in auto renewal, it is fine if you need it but if you dont, or perhaps buy different one, this folks will automatically charge you, if you don’t t notice it on time then you can forget about your money. So please TotalAV make sure it is more transparent when purchasing your product!
Impossible to communicate with them, they charged me for two subscriptions, one on my Gmail and one my Hotmail address. I do not know how they got the second one!It is not true the remboursement, the automatic response tell you they will apply it on your next year subscription. I will contact my credit card to block their access at my account. They know how to protect you and how to collect your money!Not anymore trustable from my point of view.Follow up; finally they contacted me after my review on TrustPilot, and gave a reimbursement 😀
TAKE £59. 00, I didn't want it, still taking another £59 this year, I dont want it,I have reported them to the bank, waiting for them to sort it out, I have a free security with BT and having two security on one computer would not work with two on, and why would I, want 2. I am a scam marshal for the trading standards, and I am going to report it to them as well. its a con. I WOULD ALSO ADD TO THIS ON TODAYS DATE 21 MAY THE BANK RANG ME AND SAID THEY ALSO TOOK £149 OUT OF MY BANK ON MARCH OF THIS YEAR, SO NOW THEY ARE HAVING FRAUD TEAM TAKING THIS CASE UP, AND HOPE THEY THROW THE BOOK AT THEM.
