I get 3 to 4 spam emails per day, advertising a renewal for McAfee but the link actually takes you to the Total AV site. What a pathetic way to try to gain customers. If anyone at this company cares then stop using spam under a different companies name to try to gain customers. I would of filed a complaint at the BBB but they are not a customer and have a poor B rating.
Nothing wrong with product but have been trying for hours to cancel my subscription going round and round in circlesFinally got there in the end and got full refund but the process was far too difficult
TotalAV suddenly disabled itself and would not re-enable. Spent a long time trying to resolve this with TotalAV but nothing worked. They are now refusing to refund my remaining subscription despite the promise on their website. This is a scam taking money for no service.
No matter what company I go through now, if the only way I can communicate with them is through a chat bot then forget it, I won't even consider making the purchase, PERIOD!! Even though I have been happy with the service, I have spent over an hour trying to find out where I can cancel my subscription because customer service is non existent. The links they provide just take me back to everything except the place I want to be no matter where I go. So I publicly want you to know Total Av that I WANT MY ACCOUNT CANCELLED AT THE END DATE!! These companies take your money in seconds but NEVER show the account link to change or cancel. So to be safe I've notified my CC company to put a halt to any transactions through them and to consider it a fraud if they try to renew. I have emailed them and no response.Thanks but no thanks, never again.
Total AV and McAfee are not very good. I cannot type some numbers because of a virus, and the antivirus computer software does not remove the problem. When I installed Total AV, it picked up a problem from something sent by McAfee and quarantined it. These products are overpriced, should be around ten dollars, maybe fifteen dollars, if that much. This morning my email is messed up, cannot indent or delete an indent. I work as a tutor, and so this is particularly unacceptable. I have tried different antivirus software over the years, and none of them could do a good job.
