I contacted Asia Vacation Group about a 12 day trip to China in April 2025.My contact was thru their online system and I could not fault the prompt responses over a number of queries.The process of initial deposit was straight forward and remaining payment plan.Looking forward to our trip with confidence using Asia Vacation Group (first time).

China chaos

Visa process to China was shocking - considering we are on the Qld/NSW border and in NSW, we had to go to Sydney (although I did get conflicting opinions on this), and only receiving itenary & flights 2 weeks before didn’t make for a smooth start. Even after being promised (twice) that we would have them a month out. Total lack of communication. If it wasn’t for Fretzie (an absolute gem) we would have negated the trip. The trip itself was outstanding- thoroughly recommended but probably the worst Pre booking & visa process chaos that we’ve ever experienced. The guides and accomodation were outstanding in China. We would go again but something has to change with the booking, communication system. We even thought it may have been a scam (3 weeks out because we didn’t have any documents & still had to travel 800kms to Sydney for visa purposes). A massive thanks to Fretzie. She was the lifesaver.
