Azibo is a steaming pile of tech feces, which may have just cost my new landlord an ideal tenant and a $24,000 payday. Why?I refuse to put up with companies that are simultaneously terrified of a data breach and too cheap to maintain adequate customer service staffing levels. Because the result is hours of wasted customer time.Wasting customer time seems to be the Azibo way.I just met my landlord and toured their rental home. They use Azibo. Sent me a link to a $40 background check. Step No. 1, create an Azibo account I don't even want with a ridiculously long password I will never be able to remember.I'm not crazy about paying for a landlord's overpriced background checks, when I can perform unlimited background checks on Truthfinder for $29.95 a month, but OK.Landlord seemed like good people. So I figured I'll play along.But Azibo's new account creation script won't even let me in the front door.Why?That's the mystery. Because this retarded platform can't be bothered to tell you.After wasting 20 minutes creating a series of increasingly long and complex passwords, I narrow the sticking point down to either my Gmail account or my Mint Mobile phone number.Gmail is used by 1.9 billion people on the planet and my account is 12 years old. Ergo, that would be a pretty self defeating filter for Azibo.So I’m guessing the problem is my Mint Mobile cellphone service, which is only used by 4 million people. I like my new landlord. I like their rental home, but I have to deal with enough arrogant tech bullshit on my own without tossing their worthless third-party tech providers on the pile.Asking me to pay $40 for your background check, change my cell phone number to get into Azibos retarded platform, and waste who knows how much time for the privilege of shelling out $24,000 in rent is asking an awful lot.Eff Azibo. Wasting customer time. It's the new "I want to be out of business."Dear Azibo CEO, don't bother contacting me or responding to this review. I have no intention of working with you to rectify anything but I would dearly love to inconvenience you the way you have inconvenienced me and so many others.Gee, I wonder how many people are going to see this stinging review and entirely avoid your little online vanity project because of it?I guess you'll never know(Big sigh)How much did you save on call center expenses again?I sure hope it was worth it.
Decided to add me to their forums for no absolute reason for the sake for marketing and spamming. Absolutely distasteful marketing. More reason to not support this company. This method is HIGHLY Illegal. YOU'VE BEEN MARKED AS SPAM
I’m extremely dissatisfied with how they handled my issue. They lack real customer service—calls go to voicemail, and responses are limited to emails within 24–48 hours, which delays resolution. I prefer quick phone communication, but that’s not an option. They will not call you back, only email!I’m house hacking a two-unit property, living in one unit, with no tenant until the 1st. To test their payment system, I sent a rent payment to myself as a tenant. The payment took five business days to process, but the funds never arrived into my account. Instead of notifying me of the issue directly on the platform, they sent an email to an account I rarely check because I do not have a tenant. I had no reason to check that email. Later, I learned their policy prohibits paying rent to yourself. I provided proof of ownership as requested and explained I wouldn’t process payments this way again.The next day, they deactivated my account and banned me without a detailed explanation and said my money would be refunded in 7–10 business days—three weeks after I initiated the payment. This long delay could’ve been avoided with proper communication or functional customer service.I cannot recommend them and urge them to improve. Your experience might differ, but mine was unacceptable.
Azibo has made so many aspects of property ownership easier for me. Nearly every aspect of my rental property business is run inside the platform in some capacity. I have Azibo manage things like rent collection, maintenance issues, late fees, etc.I had a tenant not understand how to get set up when we first onboarded them, but once I had them get in touch with customer support they were able to help them get everything figured out easily. I’ve even had their support teams walk me through other aspects of what their newer features are capable of, and they’ve been a great help. Very quick to respond which is rare today.If you want to save time and streamline a lot of the busy work that comes with rentals, I can’t recommend this platform enough!
Azibo has been great! After investing in my first rental property, I found Azibo, and everything has been great! They have been super helpful and responsive to any questions I've had along the way. All the features are great and in one spot for professional property management. The tenants love the credit boost feature.
I had some trouble setting things up to pay rent at the start, and now after moving out and cancelling the rent payments, Azibo kept taking money for renter insurance even though it should be obvious I’d moved out, and there was no warning it wouldn’t cancel too. I moved country and can’t access the app to change anything now, or to handle the overdraft in my old bank account it left by taking the insurance.
