After over 41 years of working with the company, I feel it is important to share my insights. There were undoubtedly positive years, and I acknowledge that some good times existed. However, in my experience, the overall workplace atmosphere has significantly declined over the past five to ten years. The leadership approach has increasingly leaned towards pressure, a lack of empathy, and poor treatment of employees—especially those with health challenges. Instead of offering support, understanding, or constructive solutions, affected individuals often encounter subtle pressure, neglect, or actions that could reasonably be interpreted as bullying. From my viewpoint, inappropriate behavior by supervisors is seldom addressed or rectified, fostering an environment where such actions become normalized over time. This makes it incredibly challenging—if not intolerable—for employees facing health issues to remain in this setting. After years of dedication, this shift is profoundly disappointing. Currently, the workplace culture does not embody the values one would anticipate from a global organization of this magnitude and standing. This review is a reflection of my personal experiences. From my perspective, professional expertise and long-term experience have become increasingly undervalued. Instead of acknowledging and nurturing skilled employees, it seems that visibility and closeness to management are prioritized over actual performance or competence. This has led to a work environment where control, compliance, and personal positioning are rewarded, while authentic professional contributions and responsibilities are often overlooked. Based on my own experiences, there have been serious incidents involving colleagues that were never addressed openly. The lack of transparency or accountability leaves the impression that such matters were quietly disregarded rather than taken seriously.
