I typically check reviews for unfamiliar stores, especially when they lack good recommendations. This time, I made an impulsive purchase of a drink that I hadn't seen in a while. I regret not investigating further than the '5 star' rating on their website, as I would have noticed the inconsistent feedback and the mediocre overall score (currently 2.9 at the time of writing). I only received automated messages from the seller and, after emailing twice and attempting to call, I eventually had to open a dispute with the payment platform after four weeks of silence. The seller did not respond at all. Fortunately, the payment platform ruled in my favor and issued a refund. TL;DR - STAY AWAY.
My partner ordered beer a week ahead of a birthday as a gift. The terms state they aim to deliver within 72 hours. The birthday has now passed, and there is still no sign of the order.
