If you are purchasing from Australia or overseas be aware that returns will be pricey even though it states on their homepage ‘Easy returns for Australia’. Ended up being quoted $100+ to organise and pay shipping for returning the product back to US. Also duties and handling fees and initial shipping costs are deducted off the refund causing the complete estimated return process to cost over $200. If quoting Easy returns, the company should at a minimum be able to offer return shipping labels.

Utter failure in customer service.

These shoes are less than 90 days old and have been worn fewer than five times because they cause severe foot pain and are simply not wearable. After extensive back-and-forth with customer service, I was told the last used for this model is designed for wide, flat feet—which does not match my foot at all. That alone explains the problem, yet no meaningful solution was offered.

Instead of standing behind their product or showing any flexibility, they refused to offer store credit or a reasonable exchange so I could try a different style. Their only “solutions” were to charge me for return shipping or offer a 50% discount to spend even more money on a brand that already failed me.

I understand companies need policies, but good companies also understand customer experience and long-term loyalty. As a first-time customer, this was a perfect opportunity to make it right. Instead, they chose rigidity over customer care.

The shoes are unwearable, and the customer service was even worse. This brand has made it clear they value policy over people.

I won’t be purchasing from them again.

A Wonderful Experience with Quality Products

I got a pair of boots two years ago as a gift, and I absolutely loved them. This year, I decided to order sneakers and formal Aviators. The quality is exceptional, and I highly recommend it. The support team also assisted me with my delivery inquiry to ensure I received my items. Next, I’m considering getting a jacket.

Might be fine in the US, but returns from the UK are tough

It seems to work well for those in the US, but the returns process from the UK is quite difficult, making it hard to recommend, especially with the prevalent sizing issues. I attempted to return the item twice because they were smaller than expected, and I ended up spending nearly half the price of the shoes on returns, only for them to be sent back by customs both times.

Size is crucial...

Size is crucial... I regret spending 440 euros on shoes! I'm really disappointed! The recommendations I received were incorrect, especially through email when I mentioned my foot measurement of 9 inches, yet I was advised to choose size 8.5. That seemed odd, but I expected better guidance! The reviews appeared positive. I reached out via email because I knew returning the shoes from Europe would be costly! Additionally, I was hit with an extra 12 euro fee by UPS upon delivery! I'm relieved I didn’t order the expensive jacket! The quality of the shoes is impressive, no doubt! But I've never experienced such discomfort! They weren’t laced properly, and I struggled to get my feet in, having to force them down... wow, do Americans have the most unusual foot shapes?
I’ve purchased shoes in the UK, Asia, and Europe without issues, even with sizes that typically fit me. I understand the leather needs some breaking in... but should I really have to walk painfully for weeks to see if that happens?! I was hesitant to purchase... a tough lesson learned! It's extremely uncomfortable, especially since I'm on a tight budget and trusted the recommendations from a certain channel... perhaps I’m just the unlucky one... Their reviews seem monitored; I can't leave my feedback, and their email review link is dysfunctional. Their chatbot isn’t helpful, and I face issues logging into their site on my computer; I have to use my phone instead... they seem untrustworthy! So AVOID ORDERING if you’re outside the US!

Regretful Purchase Experience

I made the mistake of ordering through social media. As a size 14 UK, I was pleased to find that they offered my size, so I bought them, thinking it would be hard to find larger boots. After using their online size checker, which confirmed it was correct, the boots arrived. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get my feet in them; the leather creased immediately on the tongue, and they were extremely narrow. I paid £190 for the boots with free delivery, but it cost me £58 to return them to the USA. I only got £145.58 back, which seems to be just the base price. Lesson learned! If you're ordering from overseas, stick with a brand you're familiar with! I cannot recommend this experience.

not a fan of Thursday's customer service

Not sure how people actually write product reviews because there is no where on the website to write or submit and after you order an item you aren't offered a link to review. Can't talk to a person. all chat bots on the website. Very annoying and not helpful. And then they send me a link to TrustPilot.

I loved them.

I absolutely loved what I ordered! From the first time I saw the Thursday Boot Company ad, I knew I had to get a pair of boots. The company's customer service was excellent, with immediate responses and an easy purchase process, including exchanges if the size didn't fit! Highly recommended!
