Review Time
I have had my motorcycles insured at Bennetts for several years. The cost this year came through on renewal at an astounding £3200! Last year it was £680. I could easily find renewals elsewhere at the lower figure. I contacted Bennetts and after two attempts with two different agents (the second one, Rachael, had a good knowledge and was very helpful) I actually reinsured with them at a figure of £790 (inc recovery). Beware the renewal quote and agents with little interest or knowledge. Looks like the AI driven future in this industry may prove to be quite frustrating,
Bennetts provide a first class bike insurance service at competitive prices. Their online agents are knowledgeable and helpful. I have 2 motorcycles and both are covered on the same policy with no fuss. I've had no hesitation in keeping Bennetts as my cover providers year on year.
The people in the service centre were friendly — no doubt about that — but they did not appear to take ownership and seemed forced to follow their process strictly. While I understand the need for procedures, it is always worth checking elsewhere. In my case, there was a price difference of over £1,000 between their offer and another one, even though I already had a vehicle insured with Bennetts
Wanted to change to monthly direct debit so called up the day before renewal. Then lady checked the system and found a cheaper quote which I took and arranged right away.
Reaching the right representative for assistance was a breeze. Once I connected with the supportive operator, all my questions were answered, and my needs were met. I could have looked at other options, but I trust the service and have been happy to rely on them for my bike's requirements.
