ordered the sirloin steak don't fall for the melt in your mouth jargon very tough the fat tightens up and is like a wonker everlasting gobstopper it does work in a casserole lol have you ever heard of low and slow sirloin. You buy cheap meat you cheap meat sorry Ben never again.
I had ordered several times without any issues. My last order was supposed to arrive on Saturday, but it never showed up. After reaching out, I was informed it would come on Monday. I understand that delivery problems can occur, but considering it was fresh meat and I paid a significant amount, I chose to decline the order. We exchanged messages, and I was told it would be refrigerated for 48 hours, yet I still refused the delivery. The next day, the order arrived, which I again refused. The delivery service later emailed me, indicating they had picked it up early Friday morning, meaning it was indeed over 48 hours by the time it reached me. I received an email confirming I would be refunded, which I got today. The two-star rating is not about the meat itself but stems from the unacceptable attitude of the representative I communicated with. Her responses were very unprofessional and rude, which made me doubt I would actually receive a refund. I won't be ordering again and have advised my friends and family against it, despite having recommended them before. This is purely due to her unprofessionalism; had she been more courteous, I would have continued to order. I've never refused a delivery before, and typically, I don't send items back.
The representative in customer service was quite rude and even blocked me on social media, preventing me from reaching out about my order. This was frustrating because it was the only way to communicate with them. I had paid extra for premium service on a Saturday, only for it to be canceled that day without any apology. When I requested a reimbursement for the premium service I didn’t receive, my request was ignored, and I was met with sarcasm before being blocked.
Firstly I have never had a problem with the Meat, always found to be of the best quality but the customer service is like nothing I have ever received in my life, with my package being left outside on the street for the world to see in the sun (yes Meat in the sun) and then taken by a chancer I questioned why this was done rather than contact me, the customer service agent was very rude and done everything in their power to call me a liar, took zero accountability, told me they did not care as they done what was required of them, I was really hoping for a solution or help but instead treated like a crook, I questioned the service and got no where, advised what my next steps would be and will never use again. honestly for me to write a review let alone a negative one has taken a lot as this is not my usual way of handling things.
2/10 I guess.The chicken - it was so off when it arrived it practically walked out of the box, I did email in a complaint but no reply.The sausages - what a weird texture and tasted weird. Stick with Aldi ones.Bens banging burgers - i think you need to sack Ben mate, made my partner very illSirloin steaks were alright I guess. Thin cuts tho.Gammon was just the usual packaged one, probably from Macro.The black pudding was the only redeeming feature.I would avoid at all costs, half of it went in the binOver all score... 2/10
