Review Time
The product I purchased and paid for was shipped and within 2 days according to the carrier, DHL eCommerce the goods was returned to the Merchant (B&H photovideo) due to prohibited content. Thus, goods that cannot be shipped outside the borders of the USA (is B&H photovideo not aware of their products the have shiping restrictions?? Odd for a company that is doing business for more than 70 years and is shipping to over 120 countries worldwide!!!). DHL confirmed goods was returened and I have to follow-up with the Merchant. Goods that now 2 weeks later has still not reached B&H photovideo where the carrier who returned the goods is only 50 miles away from B&H photovideo. The response from B&H photovideo is "this order is still in transit". So I purchased from B&H photovideo and paid them without any prospects of receiving anything.
Excellent service as always. I ordered a new camera lens and it arrived earlier than expected, perfectly packaged. Their attention to detail and shipping speed is unmatched. A top-tier retailer for professionals!
Bought a few assorted items from B&H photo and was impressed by the packaging and the great care to not damage the goods. Unfortunately one of the items did not work, but I had a great experience with customer service in handling a return and getting a refund. I do like the store and for a electronics store, this is honestly better than competitors like Amazon, Newegg and Best Buy.
Overall impressed and will be shopping from them in the future.
I have been dealing with this organization for decades. They always deliver in a positive manner, and if there is any problem with a product, they will resolve it to the satisfaction of all parties. Also, they are very honest in regard to product condition (new, used (to what degree)) much unlike their competition. They will also communicate effectively in regard to technical aspects of equipment, and help find solutions. Also, if you are ever in NYC, set aside some time (hours) to go to their store. It is a very interesting setup, an amazing place, and the folks working there are a super positive experience.
