They were brilliant in terms of getting the bike sorted and were really efficient however when it had come to the delivery that was my main issue here! I asked that it was hurried if possible as I needed the bike to get places and they had informed me it wouldn’t be picked up until Tuesday as Easter Monday the courier wasn’t collecting (which is fine) however I received a message today to say that the bike will be getting picked up today!!! (Thursday). This is shocking as it should have been picked up Tuesday and then would have perhaps arrived today! The communication from Biking direct to myself once everything had been signed was poor and it was really a case of now we have the money good luck in my opinion with no additional help. I do hope nothing ever goes wrong with the bike upon receiving it as I’m unsure the company would even get back to me. Honest and non bias review - 3 stars as I still recognise the help given at the beginning of the process of finding my bike was good!
Recently bought a Lexmoto XDV 300 Scooter from Biking Direct. Team are very friendly, website is nice and clear, ordering and payment was easy too - very handy as I was buying long distance. They prepped the bike up read for exactly the date I needed, and the handover was well explained by two team members. Nice and easy just how it should be :)
I rarely find myself in a position to label a review as negative, yet my experience with them has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite ordering the bike on March 29th and receiving confirmation on the 30th, the subsequent days have been marked by a relentless pursuit from my end for updates, with little to no response from their side.By April 4th, I was informed that the bike had passed its PDI tests and delivery was arranged. On the 5th, the log book arrived in the post. However, since then, there has been absolute silence. Despite assurances from "Jack" that the last day for delivery would be the 15th, there has been no sign of the bike.Attempts to reach them through Facebook and email have yielded no results, and their phone number seems to be out of service. I sincerely hope that someone from BikingDirect reads this and takes action to deliver my bike as promised.What adds to the frustration is seeing other reviews where individuals who ordered as late as April 4th have already received their bikes.
I popped into biking direct today and was met with excellent service. Very friendly and no pressure sales approach. I’m short legged so restricted on what I can get my leg over on and I was able to try several bike to see what suited me. Lots to think about, but well worth speaking to.
Bought my son his first road legal bike, a beautiful 50cc for his 16th birthday, Jack was very helpful on the phone, up to date information regarding delivery right to my door, Richard delivered on time, with up to date information on when he would arrive, talked my son through everything and made sure he was happy. Above and beyond, would definitely recommend to anyone.
What can I say about Bikingdirect, other than they are outstanding! I had my heart set on a Lexmoto Apollo and although I live in the central belt, bikingdirect (in Elgin) were the only dealership who could source it for me. Their customer service throughout was phenomenal… even though it turned out my bike was too big for me! I ended up having to call Jack and Simon the very next day after delivery and ask them to take it back! Although shocked, cause it was the bike I had wanted, they were so helpful throughout the process and were able to find me a suitable alternative. They even dealt with the finance company for me and kept me updated throughout the whole process. They probably hate the sound of my voice on the phone now, or maybe even the mere mention of my name, I caused them such a hassle, yet they never complained and offered a fantastic service. Richard was equally great when it came to deliveries and uplift of the bike. I must admit, that although there is a huge distance to cover, which incurs quite a delivery fee, I would never take my business to a dealership closer to me, as this has been an amazing experience. Sorry guys, but you will see me again when I decide to upgrade to a lambretta 😃Great company with phenomenal staff and customer service. Thank you so much guys
I placed an order and it arrived two days later than stated on delivery time. Once the parcel arrived item was damaged! That’s not their fault but when I tried to contact about this I was informed that the item was came direct from supplier and I would have to wait up to eight days for a response! I informed them that I couldn’t wait that long and they informed me they would mark it as urgent. I then requested the details of the supplier and the agent ended the chat. I go on to phone and am told I will have to phone back due to technical difficulties! Am not happy and do not have time to waste!
