Our total was £117.00 for three people, and we each contributed £40 (six £20 notes). The server returned with £80 (four £20 notes), but £40 had inexplicably vanished. When we raised the issue, the server denied any mistake. We ended up paying an additional £40. We've been visiting this location for years, but this experience will be our last. It's quite disappointing behavior.
What a major letdown. I waited 20 minutes for my food. The chips were overcooked, and the chicken was dry and tasteless. No one checked on my satisfaction with the meal. They added a service charge, which I requested to be removed. The atmosphere was dull, and the food was subpar. I used to enjoy dining here with friends, but after this terrible experience for £27, I won't be returning. There are far better places to eat.
