Review Time
If I could give them a lesser rating, I would. They were commissioned to create a website for me. I had contact with one person initially. Then was handed off to another individual. I TRIED to give him a chance, but his accent was way too thick. I couldn’t understand a word he said. I told the original guy that I couldn’t work with thud individual. I was then switched over to another individual. His accent was only slightly better. But I wanted to give him a chance. Well, I wish I had taken my money from the get go! This individual kept putting things on the site that were not in alignment with my wishes and he put the about me part in an awkward place that made no sense. He then confused reviews with testimonials. And the website was unattractive. To make matters worse, he did not keep commitments to call me on two occasions. And as of about 3 weeks ago, we were still far from launching the site. I signed on with them during the summer. That time line is beyond slow!!!I finally asked for my money back about three weeks ago for failure to deliver. I am still waiting even though they say they have sent the refund in for processing. They said it’s the bank that is slow. I call BS! I do not believe they have done anything to refund my money. A) If you don’t want to stress out trying to understand what the developer is saying, B)if you don’t care that the developer seems to lack skills as a developer, C) if you don’t care that they don’t get back to you as promised, and D) if you don’t care if your site is not done in a timely manner than hire them! Otherwise, find yourself a reputable website developer that has enough command of English pronunciation that they can be easily understood, creates a site as per your wishes, and delivers a product that is attractive and completed in a suitable timeframe.
I contacted Blitz because I thought I needed a few enhancements for my site and saw that their price for such services was quite reasonable. What they did was far beyond my expectations. In the beginning, everything seemed to be structured. They would provide me with updates and stick with the project plan. Not to mention, they never disclosed all of their fees and services in the initial consultation. I paid $5000 for the "lifetime" maintenance and hosting package which included the app and now I regret it. My site has been live for 3 months now, every time I ask for an update to be made it takes weeks and I have to follow up profusely for an update. I've shared my honest feedback several times and there has been no improvement. App still isn't live and they can't seem to provide proper updates. Please find another company that will deliver on time, be upfront with their fees and not require you to have to babysit their tasks.
As a small non profit we work on limited budget. Their fee was very reasonable and Joe and the staff at “Blitz” have been responsive and professional taking time to review the site in progress with me and working on our updates. Our group is looking forward to an outstanding outcome!
