My family typically enjoys our visits to the garden centre. However, during our last trip early last week, there was an incident where an employee in a hi-viz tabard shouted rudely at my husband from across the restaurant. There was no reason for such rudeness, especially since the restaurant was empty. Despite this, we won’t let it deter us from returning, as every other staff member we’ve interacted with has been wonderful.
As someone who typically isn't fond of garden centres, I was pleasantly surprised when I found this place with my daughter a few years back. It's a location I genuinely enjoy exploring and always look forward to revisiting. It has become my preferred spot for purchasing plants, garden-themed gifts, or simply enjoying a meal with family and friends. The prices are very competitive, and there is a wide variety of offerings. They take great care of their plants, and the environment is consistently clean and organized. An added perk is their dog-friendly policy, including a designated area in the café for pets accompanying their owners. I truly love this place!
This location is my top choice for visits; the lakeside stroll is stunning, complemented by the charm of the Italian gardens. There's always something new to enjoy throughout the seasons. I attended the Christmas light trail with my family, and it was enchanting—a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season. It's a secure environment, and the variety of shops and eateries is fantastic. I highly recommend getting a membership; it's excellent value for money.

A lovely visit as it usually is. We were greeted by a staff member as soon as we entered. We spent a long time selecting clothes and a wonderful assistant helped us with advice. We’ve met her on previous visits, and her kindness makes our experience special.
