Review Time
We came to Bonefish on Saturday February 21st. We had a fantastic meal and our server was Star, she did a great job. She was very attentive and made sure we had a very good dining experience. We will definitely be coming back 😁
Probably a waste of time because they do not seem to reply to reviews, good or bad. They advertise that their gift cards never expire and never have added fees. However, last week we were in their restaurant in Wilmington NC and they did not accept the gift card I had and was told it was expired. We buy their gift cards every year to give away, but no more. I wrote to them about this and … crickets!
This evening on my husband birthday we went to Brooksville Fl Bonefish Restaurant and had a horrifying experience, out of bread only serve upon request, all our side dishes were rotten white/yellow broccoli, my husband ordered surf and turf the filet was a tail cut which is the junk part of the loin , and the lobster was over cooked like rubber, the female manager didn’t care at all she had cook redo the same end cut instead of preparing another center cut , the rest of our food was poor quality, and spoiled, my husband has been vomiting all night. Do Not Dine at that location. The female manager insulted our intelligence when we brought to her attention the spoiled broccoli she said that’s what al dente cook broccoli looks like . The whole dynamic of restaurant was poor . Needs new Management that knows what food is supposed to look like
Food was “OK” but not what we expected. It was a wine paring with 3 food courses and one dessert course. The first was quite good but was very spicy, and the second was OK but it came out at room temperature and the main course was overcooked salmon with a good topping. The service was terrible, long waits and it took more than a half hour to finally pay our bill. We will never go back to this restaurant again!
I probably won't return to Bonefish in Colo. Springs. We were greeted by the host team at the door with what I would describe as aloof distain as if asking to dine in their restaurant was an inconvenience for them. Even though I could easily see over a dozen empty tables we were told we needed to stand to one side for half an hour till we could be seated. I tried to get us something from the bas while we waited and finely gave up rather than jumping down the bartender's throat. Those tables were still open when we were finally escorted to our table. We were then greeted by a pleasant young man who was our waiter who quickly brought us two quite good Margaretta's. When the food arrived the Potatoes Au Gratin and the asparagus were notably undercooked. The asparagus I could overlook but I will draw the line with crunchy potatoes. We both had a fish entree and My wife's Salmon was fine, but the Cod I ordered was, let's say was less than fresh. As a former seafood restaurant general manager with over 30 years experience I know a bad cod when I smell one. Our last experience at this restaurant about 4-5 months was similar. My wife knew I was not happy so I put on a smile for her sake and ordered another Margaretta and crunched on my cheesy potatoes. Bad form all around for Bonefish on N. Nevada in Colorado Springs.
Went in it was a little busy lunch time. Only had one waiter so naturally service was slow not bad. I had the Cod Imperial worst fish I have ever eaten warning for customers don't order this. I expected fish to be flaky and delicious it was like chewing a tire not exaggerating had to cut with knife and still tasted horrible although topping was outstanding. Usually eat there once a month. Won't be back for quite a while.
Palm Beach Gardens location:The side house salad was next to inedible. I was able to pick out some pumpkin seeds and a couple pieces of greens, but the rest was wilted and/or rotten. Should definitely have sent it back!! Lilies chicken would have been much better with more spinach. The rest of the food and the service was good.
My husband and I went to bonefish in Cape Coral June 24th 2025. We had not been in since the new 4/1 menu. I am not a fan of the new menu and apparently, not many were, as its being revised again. Our meal, however, did not disappoint. Husband's steak was delicious - he could cut it with his fork it was so tender. My gluten free port chop was also amazing. Our waiter, Matt, made the experience amazing. We have had some good waiters but Matt went above and beyond, providing reassurance re: my food issues (many - other than gluten) and being attentive with out being intrusive. I do wish they still offered gluten free creme brulee as dessert option.
