Bohoo automatically charged me for their subscription based “delivery support” service whatever that is (they call it Seel) without warning. You have to “cancel” this within 24 hours (!) to avoid being charged which is outrageous. I am based in the UK and can hardly wait to belong to the EU again, to be protected from these sharks and unethical companies. Likely my last order from Boohoo because of this trick of theirs.
Let you pay for express delivery, then state that the item can't be sent express but wont refund the money paid for delivery. 10 days later at the item still isnt with the courier company. Boohoo have on 3 occasions asked me to wait for a different date to escalated the matter. They now want me to wait a further 10 days. Completely unacceptable
I would not trust this site I hope many people will read reviews before supporting this site with our hard earned money. The boohoo company needs to be reported to consumer goods. If you are reading this I have been scammed by this company they don’t care about customer quality and their clothing are very low quality. As you can see people are not happy with their experience buying from boohoo. I will be reporting them to consumer goods and hopefully people won’t be scammed by this company and robbed of their hard earned money.

So, I thought I'd give boohoo a second chance and OMG, I wish that I hadn't.
They have held onto my refund for 25 days now! When you contact them they repeatedly send an automated response. I have had the same response numerously. I actually asked if they were human, and guess what..... no response!
What an absolutely appalling experience with this brand. I ordered some outfits in a few sizes, after trying the clothes on I returned 4 of the items on 06/12/2025. I received an email from them confirming they had received my parcel, but after weeks of waiting there was still no refund.
I contacted customer services via Facebook messenger and Instagram DM (there is no phone number) I repeatedly received an automated message to say that they were experiencing high demand and somebody would be in contact. This went on for so long that I had to pay my Klarna balance in full.
Several more attempts were made to contact customer services and when I finally reached speaking to somebody this was just as unhelpful. First they told me that my refund time had exceeded, to which I explained to them that this was due to their incompetent customer services and that my parcel was returned the day after receiving it. They then wanted me to provide every detail that they surely should have - how many items I’d returned, their product code, their price. Considering they had my order number surely they could see this from their side? I had to provide them with proof of my parcel drop off and show them their own email confirming they had received my parcel. After all this, they only refunded 2 of the 4 items returned.
I kept on with the messages asking for the balance to be refunded, but despite the chat history the person messaging me asked to provide every detail again. This went on for several days, before I finally received the balance of my refund 9 weeks after I returned my parcel.
SCAMMERS. SCAMMING THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE EVERY DAY.
ordered £62 worth of maternity clothes, returned every item due to awful quality literally all completely see through
Chose refund onto original payment method, obviously, because why would I want to order anything else from there after seeing how bad they are?
Got an email to say refund successful I will be sent a gift card.
This was obviously not what I chose so I messaged Boohoo who said that it could not be changed and to be ‘more careful next time’ after that they ignored EVERY SINGLE message I sent
Luckily Monzo were great and refunded me the money
If I could no stars then that would be perfect. I’ve shopped at boohoo for a while and the fact that they have got my return, I still haven’t received a refund. I was told I will be getting it refund to a gift card. When it was the original payment through clear pay. This is an issue alot of people are facing. Stealing money and just offering gift cards no one wants.
Wow what a company !!!! Firstly there is no direct contact, I have used message, email and messenger !!! Email they never responded. I have been asked 10 times by 10 different people for the order number and I haven’t heard back from these people. I sent two items back the same day they arrived and still haven’t received a refund.
This totals 69.60. I have received an email saying the two items have been returned so that’s not an issue but 21 days later no refund !!!
An absolute scam of a company. They do several illegal practices including automatically adding on 'swap protect' payments at checkout without the consumers consent (claiming that the consumers must 'de-select' a cost that they are not even aware of?). They also default refunds to gift cards rather than original payment amount - again extremely misleading. They refuse to change this or refund swap protect. On top of this the clothes quality is always terrible, I will never purchase from them again and would warn everyone to stay away if you do not wish to be scammed. Have reported to trading standards.
Poor, poor customer service. What I can only describe as a ‘glitch’ in their app whilst checking out, knocked off my discount code results in £10 extra charged. Spoken direct with multiple people through customer service. No interest. No help finding a solution. Absolutely diabolical given the size of this corporation. Feel absolutely fobbed off and frankly disgusted.
