Review Time
I wish I had researched this shop before ordering! But instead got caught up looking for something specific for my husband and bought impulsively. The item for sale in the listing is clearly not the item received - not even close. It's cheap polyester garbage; not a knit sweater that it resembled in the photos. So disappointing. Not even worth $10, let alone $70. My husband hates it of course. It also took 2 weeks to deliver. After ordering a notification that shipping was coming from China. DO NOT order from here or get caught up in this scam of a shop fronting as a real boutique.
It's all garbage! Every item cheap and not as photographed under the false name. They are shipping from China and it's up to the customer to RETURN their crap back TO CHINA at your own EXPENSE. They have gall to offer little to keep the crap. 20 per cent refund at best. Where is my money? Who benefitted from my transaction? Why are they protected?
I would advise against purchasing from this company. Although they present themselves as a London-based business, returns must be shipped to China, which can be expensive and comes with no assurance of delivery. I ordered a dress that arrived in poor quality and in the wrong color. When I inquired about returning it, I was told that I could not return it to the store and would need to send it back to China. Even with tracking, the post office could not guarantee its delivery. The only compensation offered was a £5 refund. The service was truly disappointing. Given 1 star so i could submit a review
Boutique Élégance which claims to be a Montreal based store that just closed its doors to focus on their online boutique is yet probably another scam. The pitch, presentation, pictures, prices and endless rebates make it look very much like another online Chinese Company. I wrote them directly to ask them about it. It took 2 emails from me and 4 days to get a response. It is well formulated (IA? & The exchange was in French-see screenshot) but they essentially recognize that their clothes are outsourced and mainly from CHINA. Don't be fooled. This may not be a Canadian company but a Chinese one. Canada and Montreal based are simply a facade. The ridiculous prices would indicate that you would probably receive some cheap products polluting the earth. AGAIN :( They have no shame so BEWARE!!!
I thought from the website that it was a boutique in Montreal, man was I wrong. I ordered 5 different things, all of them did not look like the picture represented on the website. I was sent the wrong item, and it took me 2 months to get it resolved. When you correspond with them, I believe you get a very nice written AI note. The clothes that come do not have labels on them and they come from China. Stay away and do not order from them.
