I signed up for a free trial of the app. I canceled right away because it didn’t seem like something I would use. I emailed to confirm the account was canceled and was assured it was. I later saw that I was changed for a full month. Dealing with customer service to resolve this has been infuriating, unprofessional and wasteful. They still have not resolved the issue even though they admit there was a glitch in the system
I was very careful to mark my calendar the day before the end of my 2 week trial. I tried the sleep program once and had a terrible night. On the day I needed to cancel I went into the app and cancelled my account as that was the only option they had. Brain Tap charged me for the year and won’t reimburse.
A very bad experience. I purchased the app and headset after a friend recommended the product. I was unable to tolerate the flashing lights of the headset due to a nerve issue in my head and neck. I returned the headset after 10 minutes of use and two days. They charged a 15% restocking fee (over $100) and refused to refund the purchase of the app. “It’s their policy” they said. The customer service people are polite in their emails but they didn’t do squat. No customer service at all, just flowery emails.What a crappy company. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE!!!
Headset doesn't work and support doesn't work. Contacted them multiple times with 2 issues, but customer support doesn't answer emails or Contact Us form on their website. Then they don't have a 1-800 phone number, wish I noticed that before I purchased, but I didn't expect any trouble that can't be resolved via email.When I reached them by phone they insist on sending emails. And then they emailed me steps to troubleshoot that I already told them that I tried and they didn't work.Bought a headset and subscription from them. Headset doesn't work, have been trying to get someone to help me. Meanwhile the subscription is paid and ticking, and they get my money while I can't use it and have to play catch and wait with their customer service. Has been a week but still they haven't sent any kind of Order Confirmation or any kind of proof of purchase, but then require Me to send them proof of purchase or otherwise they won't deal with my issues because "this is their policy"
I did BrainTap 14 day trial, and in that period of time felt that they were making unrealistic claims of how good their product was. For example, three Bain tap sessions was equivalent to 20 years of meditation practice. Most of their short sessions on the app felt like advertisements.I decided to stop the trial, but when I went to cancel you realise very quickly it was extremely hard to cancel. Their website is constantly leading you down different direction and away from cancellation. It’s two weeks after the trail finished now and after 5 very direct emails to BrainTap customer service they are still trying to take money out of my account, after every email BrainTap say “it’s been resolved” and then they close the ticket for the dispute … then a few days later I get an email from my Bank saying the payment was Declined ie they have tried to take money from my account again. They have tried to do the transaction 6 times now and everyone of the customer service email’s has no apology. I have also sent two requests to delete my account and I received an automated confirmation to say this will be done however after their last attempt last night to take money out of my account I emailed them again and BrainTap said for us to do this, we request that you give us permission to delete your account, which I have done several times.
