We were chasing a refund from Currys Business since we by misstake paid a few invoices twice. Thanks to Lorna we finally received our money back. Lorna was responding fast and keeping us up to date the entire process.
Delivery says 'usually next day' ... it arrived on day 3. No communication to update expected ETA, so I had to chase to get an update. Not good enough from a B2B seller ... we have lots of smaller B2B distributors who's communication is far better.
I placed an order on Sunday evening and requested delivery on Tuesday. Unusually I didn't receive an order confirmation. I called on Monday and was advised this appeared as a "Ghost Order". I emailed on Tuesday to cancel the order and was advised it was "out for delivery". I then had a lovely follow up message from Anne-may checking that I had received the order, did everything go OK with the installation and recycling. It was genuinely surprising and very much appreciated.
I've had a problem with an order that I placed online where I was able to buy more stock then they had available. In turn I wanted to return the amount of units that was sent to me and get a refund.
I've been dealing with a lady called Ella in the customer service department who has been more than helpful and gone above and beyond to keep me in the loop with the stages of the refund and return of my order.
I would highly recommend Ella if you have any problems she is quick to reply to emails and efficient in her work.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! MY ORDER WAS ALLEGEDLY DISPATCHED WITH AN INCOMPLETE ADDRESS, EVEN THOUGH MY ACCOUNT HAS COMPLETE DELIVERY AND BILLING DETAILS. THE SERVICE PROVIDED A 24-HOUR TRACKING NUMBER THAT WAS NOT RECOGNIZED BY THE COURIER, AND THE BUSINESS SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. Additionally, I received a standard response asking for information I had already provided. This representative certainly knows how to frustrate customers. It’s also quite suspicious that a glowing review suddenly appeared praising this representative right after my criticism. I've forwarded my complaint details along with screenshots to the appropriate executive.
As a business owner, I was approached about using the business service. I hesitantly agreed, but issues arose immediately. They used my manager's name instead of mine, the actual owner. I requested a business office package, only to discover later that it was limited to one computer. When I returned for assistance, I was informed that I would need to buy separate packages for each computer. They then suggested exchanging it for a family package, but after multiple attempts, they claimed the exchange was not possible. I would need to purchase the new package, with a promise of an email regarding the exchange. Instead, I received an email stating it was credited to the business account. The staff seemed confused, and the entire process was chaotic from start to finish.
I purchased headphones as a Christmas gift in November, and now it's January with no sign of my order or a refund. I've dedicated hours online trying to sort this out. On December 10, I was offered a £10 voucher as an apology and promised my order would be sent the next day via a different courier. After spending 40 minutes online on December 16, I was assured I'd receive my order that day. By December 18, I was informed they needed to investigate the issue. Now, on January 3, I still have not received anything.
I consulted the support team prior to my purchase and was informed that a cashback reward was available. However, I was not made aware that trading in an old device was a requirement. I decided to buy solely based on this promotion, so discovering this later feels misleading and unjust.
I had a great experience with the customer service representative who helped me set up online billing for my business account. What I expected to be a complicated process ended up being quick and straightforward, all thanks to her guidance. She was efficient, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful throughout. I truly appreciate her prompt support and professionalism!
