Review Time
I drove from quite a distance to West Bridgeford get coffee before closing time and arrived at 6:56 PM, just a few minutes before 7:00. Unfortunately, I was told the machine was already being cleaned and I couldn’t be served.
I completely understand that cleaning needs to be done, but since the posted closing time is 7:00 PM, it would be appreciated if service could continue until that time. It was disappointing to make the effort to come on time and still not be able to order.
I hope this can be considered for future customers.
If you’d like, I can also make it slightly shorter or more direct depending on the platform.
Hay i popped into my local Cafe Nero… Junction 27 as always greeted by absolutely amazing staff… i was meet by Charlotte & Sam whom greeted with genuine warm smiles awesome customer service yet again was provided… i cant fault these staff members thank you for making my day a lot better beautiful souls you are😎👍🏻
It would be great if the staff member on the early 7am shift in Croydon could bring a bit more positivity to her interactions. She comes across as quite unwelcoming, and I find it challenging to start my day with that kind of energy. Her tone with customers feels a bit harsh, similar to a strict teacher. I think I'll choose a different café tomorrow.
I visited a café with a friend who had just withdrawn a £50 note from the bank. When we attempted to pay, we were told that the establishment does not accept £50 notes. My friend, who primarily uses cash, has never encountered this issue before. Given that this currency is legal tender, the lack of a clear explanation for the refusal was frustrating. The staff member assisting us was unhelpful and struggled to communicate effectively, showing little professionalism in addressing our concerns. Additionally, the café appeared unkempt, with tables left uncleared and staff lacking proper training. The refusal to accept valid currency only compounded our disappointment. Regrettably, we will not be returning to this café. If they wish to retain customers, they must improve their service and ensure their staff are well-trained and the environment is clean.

I ordered online, and half of my items were missing. They included a note apologizing without any offer to replace the missing items. The food itself was subpar and contained many unnecessary ingredients not listed, like peanuts and peanut butter.
Since this café opened in Balham, I've been a regular visitor. Among many coffee shops, the staff really stand out. They remember my order, are polite, and have created a lovely community vibe. Special thanks to the manager and the team for their kindness and excellent service.
