If you hire through Camplify, pray the car doesn't break down and need to be towed, because if it does, you are completely on your own. When the vehicle failed, I had to arrange my own accommodation and a replacement car on my own. Their reimbursement policy is a joke - it only covers a small fraction of the cost, and because last-minute hires are so expensive, you will be significantly out of pocket. To make matters worse, their refund for the unused days was less than the actual daily rate I paid.
The owner is left to find a garage and mechanic with zero assistance from Camplify - I waited around 5h in a remote area. To make matters worse, they will still charge you the insurance excess even if the mechanical failure was not your fault at all. Terrible experience and poor customer service.
Totally rubbish. Booked a van only to have it cancelled with little warning. They then kept our deposit money for 14 days so had to wait 2 weeks before we could get out money back preventing us from being able to secure another option. Never use!
The service unfairly accused us of causing damage to a caravan we rented, despite our innocence. From the beginning, they insisted we complete an incident report, which I found absurd since there was no incident. They claimed to find us responsible based on photos provided by their previous renter, who had taken apart the caravan after our rental. They threatened us with negative credit consequences if we didn't pay. The dispute resolution process was biased and unjust... I strongly advise against using this service! It's a poor business, and we've filed a complaint with the relevant authorities.
The company owes me a refund of almost $2000 for the unused days after my vehicle broke down just two days into my trip, and they are not responding to any of my emails. I strongly caution against booking with them! They will take your money and are not reliable!
