I paid an extremely reasonable price of less than 50€ for a week's hire from Seville. Unfortunately our plane was early (not a common phrase) so I arrived at the reception desk an hour early. Not surprisingly, our car wasn't ready but - no problem - I was offered an alternative, which was a "significant upgrade" (although as something of a petrol head I wasn't so sure). That will be an extra 20€ please. A DAY. Which makes the 'upgrade' roughly 3 times the price of the original hire cost. I decided to wait. And wait I was made to - until the exact minute of the time on the original booking.
Terrible tried to book a car short notice no cars available yet they charged me $101.55 not sure what for ?? Now have to go through dispute process Very disapointing will not use again stick to the main companies not a middle man platform
On 20 January 2026, I paid a booking fee of R1,590. Only after making the payment was I informed about an additional R10,000 deposit requirement that was never disclosed upfront. Had this been clearly communicated from the beginning, I would not have proceeded with the booking.
As a result, I cancelled immediately and requested a refund of the R1,590. To date, I have not received my money back, nor have I been given any clear communication regarding the delay. This is unacceptable.
I expect full accountability and the immediate refund of my R1,590.

It has now been weeks with no refund and no explanation. This is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Customers deserve honesty before payment is made and prompt refunds when a booking does not proceed due to undisclosed terms.
I want my money back without any further delays.
The excess protection plan is not effective; you initially pay the local rental company and then must pursue the support team for a refund. After all the trouble, you only receive 70% of what you paid for a damaged tire. I cannot recommend this platform and advise opting for insurance directly from the local vendor instead!
