Review Time
After multiple emails back and forth with a sales representative about a contact grill, I placed an order having been assured that the quality of this make (a Mercury product) was the same as the make that was out of stock. When the grill arrived, it was bent in several places (exposing a very sharp edge of metal on one side), the top was not properly weighted, so kept falling down onto whoever's hand happened to be there, and the grilling time was at least twice as long as that of our current grill. I immediately contacted the sales rep with photos to request a return, and a few days later also reported the problem to one of the managing directors. It is now two weeks later and I have not yet heard back from either of them. Very poor customer service. Very poor quality product.
I have emailed twice -info@caterkwik. Co . Uk courtney@caterkwik. Co . Uk (full emails are not allowed in reviews but my emails have been sent to correct addresses) and a third time via their ‘contact us’ page complain about a parcel that hasn’t been delivered. A total of 3 times over the past week or so with no response whatsoever. I have spent over £4500 and I’m waiting for the water filter before fitting a brand new espresso machine. Really disappointing, as I’ve used them several times and spent thousands of pounds over recent years. I cannot ring the line, as I’m still abroad with the family on holiday. I could understand missing an email, but THREE?
Ordering was really easy, as was the delivery the only thing that did annoy me was that I ordered the machine and it stated 3 day delivery, that was not the case , about a week later someone called and said there had been a mix up with the haulier and then let it slip that the stock wouldn’t be in the warehouse house until the next day , I don’t mind if someone was honest and called the next day to say they couldn’t fulfill the 3 day but what I don’t like is being lied to !! I ordered on 7/1/25 and it was delivered on 20/1/25However the machine washes really nicely and I’m pleased with that .It would have been five stars but I’ve knocked one of for the lie ! I really don’t like that, I would much rather someone be honest
