When I bought my new house I didn't realise that hardly anyone installs cat flaps through large sliding glass doors. My sliding glass doors cover the entire wall that leads out into the garden and there was no other place a cat flap could reasonably be fitted other than through these glass doors. I was told again and again that 'we don't/won't/can't do it' to 'it can't be done' at all. I am SO glad I found Cats Out of Glass. From my first and all subsequent communications with Sarah through to measurements and fitting by CJ, it was an absolute pleasure doing business with them. They are a first class operation. I really don't have enough superlatives for them! They are professional, thorough, clearly expert, prompt, courteous, knowledgable, easy-going human beings ... I could go on and on. All costs are totally transparent and much less than I had expected, process and timings clear; in fact I could hardly believe it, I was told it would take a good 2 weeks for the glass to be made but CJ took measurements on a Friday, I paid that afternoon and installation took place a week and 2 days later, on the Sunday - a Bank Holiday weekend no less! Measurement took maybe 20 minutes tops, installation around 30/40 minutes (it's a fascinating process, I had no idea). Cat flap, glass adaptor, even batteries are included in the price (I got the Closer Pets - formerly Catmate - microchip cat flap as that is the one my cats had at my previous place and both they and I were used to). After a good sniff inside and out, my cats were using the new cat flap right away. I have no hesitation at all in highly recommending this company for any and all cat flap installations.

We urgently needed a cat flap fitted within a small time frame & found Cat Out of Glass via Google. So pleased we stumbled across them! Sarah was very quick to respond to emails & helped us to get the glass ordered & booked in asap. CJ who fitted the cat flap & glass was great & really helpful in finding a quick solution when (thanks to my measuring skills) the glass didn’t fit initially.Would highly recommend, very professional & helpful & will definitely use them again.
