Review Time
I am writing this to ensure that other people do not continue to be scammed by this company. I placed an order on 11/28/2025 and despite repeated assurances and multiple promised delivery dates over the past 3 months, the furniture has not been delivered and requests for refunds are being ignored. It has been increasingly difficult to get a hold of customer service or receive email responses. This pattern is similar to that experienced by others writing negative reviews.
Here are some findings about the company that were unfortunately discovered after placing the order and sending payment:
1. The website lists a store address (2323 Main St, Irvine, CA 92614), however after attempting to visit in person there is no physical storefront.
2. The company is listed as "Caviani LLC" on the California Secretary of State business search. Company status is FTB Suspended and has been listed inactive since 4/01/2025.
3. Caviani is not a BBB accredited company and has not responded to filed complaints. Their Trustpilot rating is poor with majority 1-star reviews.
These should be red flags to any prospective shoppers. Although the website may appear to be legitimate and there is a social media presence (Instagram), do not be deceived. Be skeptical of the positive reviews that are likely fake, and even though there are seemingly nice people responding to customers, they do not follow ethical business practices. I strongly recommend against placing any orders with this company. Take your business to a reputable company instead of trying to save a few hundred dollars.
I will update this review if there are any reasons for me to believe this company is legitimate, but if there are no updates, assume that there has been no resolution for my order.
Be careful. This appears to be a SCAM online business. They took $3,464.80 from me last December and have failed to provide any shipment or refund. My calls are largely unanswered. A man named Ryan and a woman repeatedly gave false information. No delivery or refund has ever been completed.
This is what I received from the State Division of Consumer Protection “After review of your complaint, the Division has determined this is a possible scam imposter business.”

They tried to scam my 70 year oldMother by not wanting to give her refund for the furniture that she never received and was very long before it had to get delivered. Cursing her out and threatening her. This place should be shut down as a business immediately. I’m taking this case all the way . You crooks! You shouldn’t be criminalized and shut down!
I had a very disappointing experience with Caviani-Furniture.I placed an order for a Sleeper Sofa Bed on 12/14/2025 and two months later, I still have not received it. Throughout this process, I made numerous calls to request updates on my order status. Many times no one answered the phone, and messages I left were not returned. It has taken a significant amount of my time and effort just trying to get order status information.At one point, I was told the delay was caused by the shipping company. However, I paid the shipping cost in full and expected the furniture to be delivered within a reasonable timeframe. Later, I was informed that the furniture had been damaged. I spoke with the store manager, Ryan, on 1/27/2026, and he promised a replacement would be sent within 5–7 business days, even mentioning an additional cost for a tracking number. Unfortunately, more than three weeks have passed since that conversation, and I have not received the replacement or any follow-up communication.I have called several times requesting updates or a callback from the manager, but I have not received any response.As a customer, I have been patient and respectful, but the lack of communication, delays, and unfulfilled promises have been extremely frustrating. At this point, I have requested a full refund and cancellation of my order. However, I am still waiting to see how the company will respond.I hope this review helps other customers make an informed decision.

ABSOLUTE Scammers!!!! THEY STOLE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FROM ME. I ordered a table in June and it’s NOVEMBER and the table has either 1) arrived damaged 2) been on back order or 3) DAMAGED IN TRANSIT. Every time I call for a refund or an update the stupid “customer service” ALWAYS SAYS TO CALL HER BACK. She’s like “i can’t check right now call me back tomorrow” Every Day!!! SCAMMERS !!! WE ARE TOO NICE FOR THIS BUT WE have HAD IT AT THIS POINT. Give us our money back
Do not order if you actually want the furniture that you order! JUST LOOK AT THE TENS OF OTHER REVIEWS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE HORRIBLY LONG DELIVERY TIME. Estimated 4-7 days delivery for my table, but 17 days later I still had not received it. Each time I called for an update they kept telling me a new delivery date. Wasted more than 2 weeks waiting for my table! I am located within 50 miles of the store and still could not get it. The worst!!
Absolutely do not order from Caviani. This is hands down one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with.I ordered a coffee table and paid for delivery with assembly — they gave me zero tracking, no delivery updates, and then randomly texted me 30 minutes before dropping it off at 9:30 PM on a Friday night. I wasn’t even home. They just left the heavy table outside with no assembly, and didn’t care at all.When I opened it, the table looked nothing like the photos. It was a completely different finish, cracked in multiple spots, with chipped corners and cheap materials. It’s literally falling apart. And since I paid through Zelle, I can’t even dispute it.This company is a complete scam — terrible quality, shady communication, and no customer service. I feel robbed. Avoid at all costs.
