This company should not be allowed to trade with you UK. They are scammers. They follow no rules and they are extremely rude. All the information on their website is misleading, they give you a wrong information for delivery and they do not inform you about their terms and conditions prior to ordering. When you discover the lie and call them they refuse to cancel the order, they force you to receive the goods and on your expense to return it back! But that's not it they use this company dsv.com to deliver it to you. Once they contact you, even if they know your address, they will refuse to deliver it in front of the house they say -kurbside delivery. What is means you get a pallet in the middle of the street, even if your package is just 30 kg. They do not reason with you and they dismiss you back to Made In Design! Stay away from this website. I can see that many others have had so many issues. I will report them to authorities. This is a scam.

This is my second order with Made in Design, the first time I had to return the product (as it did not fit my needs) and the return process was fast and easy, this time I kept the order, and I am very happy with both my new lamp and the overall experience.
The after sales service is a disaster. We ordered a lamp from Sarah Lavoine on the swiss website and when we opened the pack, we observed that one piece was broken. We made a after service request and after more than 10 days, still no answer on how to have the lampe replaced. How complicated can it be!Every time I call, I get the same message, to be patient as they have delays in the answer! Really disappointing customer experience for a company that sells designer pieces!Update: I have received your email and replied to you on Thursday. As mentioned in the email, due to the long delay of 11 weeks for replacement, we would rather opt for the reimbursement. Thanks in advance for replying to my email. Best regards Anne Wyss
Unfortunately I have not received the Item. That was not your fault and your contact when I called the service hotline was very kind and capable.The problem was the Serviceprovider Chronopost who (1) was not able to deliver although it would have been easy and without any problem and (2) put the Item in a locker and granted only 3 days access. After that short period he returned the Item at my expense.This is completely unacceptable. I would highly recommend to consider changing the delivery partner.
I ordered 8 glasses, ended up receiving 2 glasses. Submitted an aftersales support request, they have been radio silent for a whole week. I tried calling their landline, no one picks up. Makes me wonder if it's because they have a poor operations team or if this seller is a scam.
It would have been helpful prior to ordering to know that the furniture we ordered was not in the UK. It was listed as “In Stock” on the website but was actually in Denmark? So it took longer than we anticipated to arrive and then one of the items got held in customs in France for 2 weeks. It’s a good job that the Hay stools are better than ever anticipated which has helped to mitigate the negative aspect of the experience but we did have to do a photoshoot with only one stool!
