I have visited the Ain Khalid branch several times to open a corporate account. It has been very difficult, as the security did not allow me to meet with the branch staff to resolve the problem. I submitted everything online, but the responses have been very slow. It has been over a month now, and I still receive messages asking me to visit the nearest branch. Day by day, I am increasingly disappointed with your bank's service, as the online submission process seems to be used as a tool against customers.
Customer service is utter trash!! You will be treated in the worse possible way with zero dignity! Specially avoid the grand hamad branch at all cost. Thats the worst branch out of all, they will treat you like garbage! Online booking appointment system is a waste of time you will be given a new number & made to wait in queue! Absolutely horrible & pathetic customer service.

They start online appointment for customer service.Once you book the slot and you came to the branch they will issue new token number to you.So I booked the appointment at .07.20 pm and I reached 10 minutes earlier. But my turn come at 08.30pm .So my simple question what is the benefit to take appointment online if you can't attend on time .Please close online appointment
Extremely Poor Service at CBQ DECC Branch – Account Opening DelayI would like to express my deep frustration regarding the service at the CBQ DECC branch. I have been visiting the branch for three weeks to open an account. I submitted all the required documents on the first day (around 15 November), but the staff member who assisted me went on vacation immediately after.Since then, I have been going to the branch every Tuesday, waiting over one hour each time, only to be told the same excuse: “The lady who took your documents is on vacation, we can’t do anything.” There is no supportive staff at the DECC branch to follow up or take responsibility.My vacation already started on 28 November, and despite multiple visits, my account is still not opened. This level of service is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I strongly request immediate action on my case.CBQ is a reputed bank, but the DECC branch service is very poor. No customer should have to go through this experience. ( THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STSRT
I had a very bad experience with Commercial Bank of Qatar. Especially in the account opening process, the staff was not supportive at all. Even after visiting multiple times, I did not get proper guidance or clear information. The employees seemed careless and uninterested in helping new customers.Banking should be smooth and customer-friendly, but here it was very frustrating. I would not recommend this bank to anyone who is planning to open a new account.
CBQ is by far one of the worst banking experiences I’ve had. They hold incoming transactions without notice, and then force customers to physically visit a branch just to prove the source of the funds—even when the transfer is from a clear, legal, and verified source. This is completely unacceptable in 2025 when digital banking should offer convenience, not punishment.To make matters worse, the customer service was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and in my experience, showed racist behavior. I felt discriminated against and mistreated for no valid reason, simply for asking for access to my own money. No one deserves to be treated like this, especially when you are a customer of the bank.I strongly warn others to avoid Commercial Bank of Qatar. There are better, more modern, and respectful banks available in Qatar. CBQ seriously needs to review its policies and train its staff on professionalism and equality.
