AVOID! SCAM WEBSITEWas missold an item that was not as described or advertised. I expressed my consumer rights for a refund and quoted their own returns policy about them covering the cost of postage to return the item and they refused and now are ignoring my emails when asked for contact details/address for legal escalation. seeking legal assistance for a refund.
I ordered a black dress for my mother's funeral. It looked very nice on their website. The name Celeste London suggests very strongly that the company at least has a warehouse or base in London. Their website clearly states in a large prominent font "hassle free returns". This could not be further from the truth. The dress arrived after 10 days. It did not resemble anything like the picture on their website. It was of poor quality material, no labels, care instructions and the front of the dress hung badly. I could not wear this. After my Mums funeral I set about trying to get a refund. " Hassle free refunds" I was confident that I would receive a prompt refund. No chance, I was first offered to keep the address and receive 20% off a future purchase. I said no and I wanted a full refund. I was then offered a further discount of 40% and keep the dress. I refused, they then said I had to ship the dress to their warehouse at my cost and that I had to have it tracked. The warehouse is in China and the cost of return was £20.70 - my dress cost £34.95! I said no the dress was not as described and therefore in accordance with the Consumer Credit Act I should received a full refund. They still insist that I have to return to China at my cost. What guarantee do I have that if I do this they will refund £14.20 let alone the full £34.95. Do not buy from this company. They should not be trading in the UK and disregarding our Consumer rights.
Ordered dress for my daughter over £40,was too short so looked to return . You have to email the company as returns are to China and the customer has to send it back tracked delivery which can take up to 3 weeks before a refund is given . They offered for me to keep the dress order a bigger size and get 40% off or keep dress and they would refund 20% of the cost which was just over £8 . You think as the company name is Celeste London you are ordering from a UK company so can return - it’s not and you can’t do my advice would be avoid . The quality of the dress was also not very good , I would liking it to SHEIN. I would definitely not recommend this company
I received the wrong item. Read their policies online and it states that if the item arrives damaged or incorrect they will cover the cost of return shipping just email their customer careEmailed customer care to ask them to arrange a return and they are now saying shipping costs are covered by me all the way back to China, which is completely different to their information onlineThe other options i was offered was to keep the wrong item and get either 20% refund or they will give me 40% off to buy it again meaning I’m out of pocket each way for an error on their part I just wanted to return the item with them covering the shipping costs like they stated and get a refund
Item was not of good quality, wrong colour compared to what was displayed on the website. When wanting a refund they say that i am responsible for the shipping cost which is approx 20quid as its coming from China, despite the website 'suggesting' its a UK based company an on digging its registered in Netherlands and ships from China. Scammers. Don't trust this company or buy from them
Order hasn't arrived. Links to website and track my order no longer work. No way of contacting seller to find out if order will EVER arrive.Order finally arrived after repeated emails and chasing. Item is of poor quality and fit considering price. Very disappointed. Would like to return it and get a refund, but feel that I won't be successful as it's no available on the website, as it's been removed
Poor quality and design - nothing like shown on their website. A Chinese company with an English name to confuse you. Very slow delivery too. I bought a black LUNA Women's Tailored Long sleeve collared blouse (£28.95). Right after I was offered 10% off when buying a second item, so I ordered the same blouse in white - but I was charged full price for both items (£57.9) and it isn't even the same design! Now, after a few emails trying to get a refund, they tried to convince me to keep the items and get a ridiculous refund and a 50% discount on my next shop... Like I would ever trust them again after this awful experience! They ask for me to cover delivery expenses for sending back to China, with tracking delivery... How's this a "hustle free return", as they claim on their website??
The overall quality and even the packaging and presentation of the clothing is beyond awful and NOTHING like what is portrayed on the website. It is by far much worse than "fast-fashion".Shipping and delivery take a while and do not be fooled by their Return/Refund policy: they will repeatedly try to lure you into an exchange and delay their response - which in turn delays your ability to even start the return/refund process in their favor.UPDATE: If you had any doubt that they are a borderline shady store, this is the address they will tell you to send things back to (AFTER repeatedly trying to get you to exchange, and at your expense):"Liu ChangxingNo. 2 freight elevator on the west side of the 3rd floor, upstairsYuantong ExpressNo. 409, Suxi Yiwu TownZhejiang, 310000China"
