It's unfortunate that there's no option for zero stars, as that's what this deserves. The lamp is made of low-quality plastic. The seller advertised seems nonexistent—they're operating out of another country. AVOID THIS! Communication is only possible through email, and the support team is lacking.
They assert they are a local business, but that's not true, making returns impractical when the item arrives. My suggestion: initiate a chargeback with your bank as the most effective way to recover your funds. I informed them that if they want the item returned, they should provide a mailing label or a local address.
Received a cheap plastic import from China that was defective. When I requested a return, they refused to provide a UK address and insisted I send it back to China at my own cost, which discourages returns. They don't inform you that if a company claims to be UK-based, they are legally required to offer a UK return address. If the item is subpar or misrepresented, you deserve a full refund, and they should cover return shipping. Don’t send anything back to China; it’s not worth it. Instead, contact your bank for a chargeback. If you’re reading this before ordering: don’t. If you’ve already ordered: don’t panic, you can get your money back.

Now I've received an email from the company responding to my actions. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. Like others, I saw their advertisement on social media and, foolishly, didn’t do my homework. I fell for the sob story surrounding the so-called 'co-owner's' death. All of it is untrue, as are the claims on their website about handmade products from a Cambridge company. The items that arrived today are awful, cheap imports that are sold on other platforms for less than £12. My mistake for not checking reviews, but they are con artists with a deceptive online presence. I’ve requested a full refund, but I doubt I’ll be successful. I've also reported them to the relevant authorities.
