This is not for use in wintertimes. Temperatur drops to 16 or below during night. You need to activate the room sensor at least every 2 hours or the heat turn out. You can see out between the window and the frame.
This is not what you expect during a winter in a resort.

Just arrived to stay for 3 days!! AMAZING welcome vibe so amazing that when I asked the receptionist what is the vip service in our reservation, her response was that our bedsheets are included 🤣🤣 you guys!!! Waiting since 13:00 until we can move our stuff with the car to the cottage at 16:00 just to hear tha we need to wait the earliest till 17:00 if not longer to go inside the cottage because they wanted it to be clean, while booked for earlier check in… so we waited in the cold.. in the rain!!! Just bad!! The compensation was a 25€ for 1 person to spend inside the park for the “inconvenience”…2nd day, still waiting for them to change this shit situation. Booked the VIP COTTAGE to live the total chaos. Booked with breakfast and no one told us that even tho WE PAID FOR BREAKFAST we needed to make a RESERVATION to sit even and eat. What the hell is going on here??? They deny us any refund they say at the reception, and the lady marked that this center park says they refund the money but 9/10 they never give it back. If your own crew speaks like this about your f*cked up business, then the owner must be a shit hole as well! Our reservation number 6788232, in case whoever from this company has the guts to answer with a proper solution.
This is not a customer focused company. There are two issues in regards to this poor review. 1) I wanted to have our first family holiday away with our 9 month old who has been managing cancer since birth. I tried booking a VIP Feriehus at Bispinger Heide online as the timing and price were great. When I got to purchase it I continued to get an error and unable to book and pay. I tried this for about 3 days and there was no fix. So I called the Danish office and had spoken with a great person who was very helpful. I advised the situation and she happily made the booking but was 100euro more than advertised online when I looked. I also advised that we had some scans coming up and wanted to understand the cancellation policy which she confirmed and advised that she would build this into the booking. To deal with the price difference she confirmed to email the debtors email address with an explanation and screen shots of the price I could see and also the error message.By the end of that day I got a reply that advised pricing changes due to demand and availability. I replied and explained that this had nothing to do with this and did not then get a response. I called the danish office again and she was helpful but confirmed I would need to submit a complaint. I had then submitted this. I did not want to confirm the booking or make payment until this had been resolved. No one I could contact via phone could advise or help. 2) We had the scan (standard procedure) and got some bad news and we need to go back into treatment and will not be able to go on our family holiday. We were told late Friday and was not in a headspace to call and cancel right at that moment but called the next day as soon as I had gathered myself. They advised I would still need to pay a cancellation fee which from the beginning I was trying to avoid given our situation. My experience has shown that this company has no regard for customer service, empathy or maintaining any kind of credibility. This experience has certainly cemented that I will never set foot on a Center Parcs site or give them any of my money. I did tried my utmost to be transparent through this process and have not had the same from them. You have room to do and be better Center Parcs.
Unfortunately, given that I paid 500 EUR a night for a VIP cottage, the standard fell far below expectations. Part of the promised VIP cottage experience includes "VIP service." I still don't know what this means. For example, we arrived around 11am, with the cottage accessible from 4pm. A display screen in reception showed which cottages were ready to access in real time. I would have thought that the VIP cottages would be readied first, not least given that we had checked in five hours early (i.e., it was known we were there). Yet, our cottage was one of the last to be ready. When we entered the cottage, it turned out that the tap in the WC was broken, meaning that hand washing was not possible without entering another room. The complex itself felt run down. For example, there were prominent rust marks in the Aqua Mundo, which no one had even bothered to paint over. The Aqua Sana and the outdoor pool were both out of order. This had not been advertised to us. Unbelievably, the digital door lock to our cottage failed not just once, but twice, in consecutive days, having supposedly been repaired. This caused severe disruption to days 3 and 4 of our 6-day stay. The receptionists did not take the lockout problem seriously. In fact, they repeatedly lied about maintenance staff being "directly" on their way to fix it. They then claimed to have put 25 EUR on our wristband to go enjoy some drinks, but when we went to pay for the drinks, there was nothing on the wristbands. In the end, I demanded to see the manager, who turned up later than promised. Almost unbelievably, the rendezvous point was at a clown show. The access problem to the cottage did get fixed, however, while we were treated to a free all-you-can-eat buffet. A good job that we opted to eat out, because as soon as I tried to use the hob in the VIP cottage, the ignition mechanism would not stop clicking! The next day, we booked the Kid's Safari electric vehicles, and one of them broke down half through the allotted time period. The most fun we had was outside the Center Parcs complex, e.g. on the beach on a sunny day, and on a day trip to Amsterdam. Little things: my daughter ordered something from the lunch menu that should have come with jam, sprinkles, and nutella. They were out of jam, and seemed to think that was fine. All in all, while we managed to have fun, there is no way this holiday is worth the price. We should have booked a cruise or an all-inclusive in the Med instead.
I made a reservation for Heijderbos from 1. August to 5. August for 4 adults and 3 kids. I made the reservation on 28 June, and the payment went through by paypal and was withdrawn from my account 1. July (1715,8 euro) But i haven't got a confirmationI tried to call them but they couldn't help me because I didn't have a booking.I talked to the Danish part of the company and they told me to write to accounting, but they didn’t answer. Så now we have paid 1715 euro for a vacation that we didn't get. Luckily I paid with payPal so hopefully they will get my money back sometime, but i still missing my money and have to book another vacation while CenterParcs have my money
We booked the Premium 8 person cottage and it is absolutely disgusting. Dirt and mould in every room. Dead insects imprinted on the walls and lamp shades. Spa bath absolutely stinks when spa is activated. Plug sockets with no cover in the kids room exposing wires. Bird poo over every piece of outdoor furniture. ( not fresh ) outdoor area extremely dirty from floor to ceiling. Staff in general pretty good and site although small was nice. Loads of cars driving around everyday which isn’t normal for centre Parc. When asking staff their simple response is we are not cops so basically everyone does what they want. We were told we are not allowed our own paddle boards yet on several occasions people have their own boat of paddle boards. Restaurant staff only wanted us to sit outside as to not use the indoor space. ( easier for them to keep clean ) would never recommend or visit again! Been to every Centre Parc in Belgium and never experienced this! Were last out of the pool changing room and forgot one costume and was missing the next day. So either staff or its not been cleaned and someone took it the next morning.
I changed jobs and couldn’t go on the trip, but I had purchased the travel insurance for €90—great, right? Nope.I followed all the instructions, submitted all the required documents, and haven’t heard a word in over 1.5 months. The documents are visible on the claims customer portal. Three weeks after I uploaded them, I got an email saying, “Your claim has been created—please submit your documents.” I followed up to clarify (since I had already submitted everything), and... nothing. Another three weeks have passed with no response.I called Europ Assistance, only to find out the German branch doesn’t handle Center Parcs claims—it’s the Spanish branch that does. I’ve tried three times now. The operator says there's no direct number—just a button that transfers you to the Spanish line. And yes, the hotline is entirely in Spanish. I sit through 20 minutes of music and automated messages, with no real human help.Center Parcs deserves the negative review here too, since they promote and sell this "insurance" on their website. Shame on them for supporting such a broken system.Don’t waste your money on this travel insurance—unless you're planning to buy insurance for your insurance. It’s a scam.
The arcade hall was a very big disappointment everything in there is designed towards preventing you froom winning and to rake every euro out of your pocket its a real pity that they modified these machines in a way that you can’t win anymore its just a scam hall not ar arcade hall they are litteral oplichters you will never ever see me again and i will never recommend your shitty place to anyone its so so disappointing i hope they will go bankrupt because they don’t earn any respect or reason to exist so be careful when you walk in there !
Was really excited to book this for the summer holidays however when I proceeded to try and book I noticed I had incorrectly mistyped our surname when signing up for an account and it wouldn’t allow me to modify. Trawled through the help pages and eventually found a page that said to follow a link to complete a form. However, the form is only to deactivate or delete the account which isn’t helpful. Ended up having to ring and they advised that the name can only be changed once a booking has been made and that it would take up to 4 weeks. I don’t want to pay today for a foreign holiday in an incorrect name. I’m shocked at how difficult this appears to be to resolve for what is essentially a mistype. Very disappointed
