This is the WORST credit company ever! There is no ability to set up an auto draft for payment of the account automatically. If you use the card, you better be good at manual book keeping. I missed my due date by 2 days because I thought I had this set up for auto draft, which apparently isn't ALLOWED through this bank - what century are they in? When I asked for the late fee to be waived, they denied my request and said that their policy states only 1/2 of the Late fee can be waived. The customer service operation is an off-shore provider with no access to upper level mgt to make additional concessions. Just DON'T USE THIS CARD. I've cancelled and will receive my confirmation in the paper mail in 7-10 days.
This company needs to be investigated for bait and switch tactics. In order to get VA Tire offers, you must use this card. You cannot make payments until post date and then it does not show until you get it posted with a late fee. I have tried repeatedly to pay my balance, but cannot. Whoever heard of a credit card not allowing you to make payment. HATE CFNA!!
Card is often declined even though plenty of credit available, Fraud dept says there are no flags, customer service dept is unhelpful and just says to try again in a few days and there's nothing they can do. Save yourself the trouble. Look elsewhere.
Avoid CFNA and Firestone Credit Card – Worst Experience EverCFNA is by far the worst credit card I’ve ever had. I only got it because of the persistent sales pitch from Firestone staff who kept insisting we apply — a huge mistake.We always pay our credit cards on time and in full, so it was shocking to receive a $29 “late payment” fee. We never got any alerts or notice about the due date — no reminders, nothing. When I called to dispute the charge, they refused to waive it at first. Only after I told them to close the account did they agree to waive half the fee.Their customer service is extremely impersonal and difficult to reach — a maze of phone numbers clearly designed to waste your time and discourage you from getting real help.Completely disappointing and unprofessional. We never really wanted this card, and now I wish we had never accepted it. Stay far away from CFNA and the Firestone credit card.
Firestone Tire Center signed me up automatically for this card. I never saw the small print for $2.99 fee for paper statement. Was on vacation and missed first payment by 7 days. 29.99 late fee. I paid the bill immediately when i realized it was overdue. Had to install mobile app to pay bill on weekend after 5pm on Saturday. When asked if they could waive the late fee they said no it is there company policy. I have never been denied a waiver of a late fee on a first time use of a card. Guess the customer service person at Firestone got their commission and CFNA made out. Never again..stick no my regular card.
I have a credit card with this company through Firestone auto repair and the card is a ripoff! I said that because they double charge you interest without your consent! They offer a plan where if you spend $149 or more you can pay over 6 months but they don’t even ask you if you want to do it! They just take it upon themselves to do it for you! I you haven’t paid that particular purchase in the 6 months period they charge you more interest on top of the interest they charge you for the same money they give you from the card! That is truly not fair, they are double charging you and more for the same money they already loaned you from the card! Something is wrong with that practice it’s more like a scam than a card! I didn’t ask for 6 months deferred payments so I should not have to pay twice for the same money! Please don’t trust this company!!
One day late for my first payment, $39 late fee. I received no notice of when my payment was due. Their customer service guy was cold and informed me that it's not their policy to waive any interest or late payment fees. At least I think that's what he said. I think he was working from overseas.
Do not do business with these unethical crooks. They randomly out the blue tack on almost 200 in interest and do that as they wish and expect you to pay it! Dealing with the wrong one here. Then at the same time drop my credit limit 200 tanking my score. I’m pursuing legal recourse they are con artist all beware
LITERALLY THE WORST CARD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYWHERE!!! It started out with even though I had set up automatic payments My first two payments did not go through even though they had the correct acct number and routing number. Then it miraculously started working with no changes. After several months and numerous phone calls those late fees were finally reversed. And I was told not to worry that until an account was 2 to 3 months behind in payments they did not report it as being late. Used it a couple of times paying most of it off every month. Just kept a small balance on each month going foreword. Then I find out someone is using my account to pay their bills. I went into my bank and they immediately closed my checking account and gave me a new checking account account number. They then gave me a list of all of my accounts that took automatic payments from that old account and told me to contact all of them and explain to them what happened and to get my automatic payment account number updated. Which I did. Thought every thing was good until I saw CFNA's payment did not come out of my new account. Called immediately and made a payment then spoke to someone whom 'I could not understand at all but was able to at least get everything was good on my account and that the payment had gone through with no late payment showing or fee. A month later I get my statement and it shows the payment as being late and I was charged a fee. I called once again and tried explaining what had happened. I was told it could take 2 to 3 billing cycles for it to catch up. But not to worry, everything was up to date on my account. Next statement, same issue. I call again and get the same answers. Next month same thing. Only now My credit report shows I had a late payment on my CFNA card and my once excellent credit score of 790+ has now dropped to 630. My available credit limit was also cut in half and my interest rate was now the maximum they could charge. I call again only this time I am told there is nothing that they can do as it has been over 2 months. Getting a supervisor does me no good. They give me the same answer. Sorry it has been over two months. Doesn't matter that I've been calling every month there is nothing they can do about it. This is completely shady on their part. But as they say sorry nothing they can do. Well I sincerely hope this happens to everyone of them. Because who knows how long it's going to take me to get back to where I was.
