The tones are impressive, and the IRs and presets are very realistic, working wonderfully with my equipment. I had a question about my purchase, and the representative was very responsive and offered helpful tips along with the right presets. Overall, my experience was fantastic.
While installing specific profiles into my device, I accidentally erased them all. In a panic, I reached out, explained my situation, and the downloads were promptly added back to my purchase. Best customer support I’ve ever experienced! The profiles are also exceptional!
A few points...the customer service is outstanding; I received a reply late at night to an email I sent earlier about some feedback. I have purchased two packs so far, and while I had some issues with one, I received excellent support to resolve it. The products themselves are incredible; both packs sound amazing right out of the box. I would recommend them to anyone, and I have already recommended them to others.
The tones are ok. Nothing special and have volume issues. My main reason for writing a review is their refusal to give me access to the ton packs I purchased after loosing what I bought in the Helene hurricane that hit my home in black mountain. They told me I had downloaded them twice and that should have saved them in a safe location. They said if I bought 3 more products they would make an exception and let me download what I already paid for. From Choptones: “However, we appreciate your patronage and understand that there may be genuine needs for additional downloads. As a one-time exception, we can accommodate your request if you place another order with us. Any order of at least 3 products, will allow us to extend the download limit for your previous 3 orders.”
I’ve had nothing but excellent advice and service from the folks at Choptones! The patches are excellent. The IRs are also truly worth their weight in gold. The tonal differences are as tweakable as they are noticeable. I downloaded 8 different products for for my Helix, at the same time. I wish I had done it sooner. I’m enjoying all the different sounds! I will download a bunch more for the Helix Stadium! Thank you!
Please never give your mail to these people. After sending you a shit of tones they will never stop sending you ads to buy more shit. No matter how many mails you write to them letting them know that you want them to delete your data from their system they will never do. Even if you try to Block their communication they still find the way to invade your mail with hundreds of unwanted messages.
I purchased the Valeton Blues Pack, but by mistake selected the GP100 pack instead of GP200. I immediately realised after clicking the link it was wrong, and emailed straight away to explain.All I wanted was the link to the model I'd meant to purchase for, but he refused, citing his returns policy. I tried to reason with him, and he continued to refuse to help and was happy to take my money and leave me without a useable product. I also sell digital products online as a guitar tutor, but I'm not in the business of ripping people off, and use my judgment in situations like these. So disappointed that I've wasted my money and have a useless link. Should of read the reviews here first, which are almost 70% negative!
