My Wife ordered an item online, clever cards took almost £45.00 from the card and placed it into pending. The item was out of stock and the company never took the payment. Clever cards did not refund back onto the card. They initially confirmed in an email they had identified a problem that they would fix and return the money however they have notvand almost 2 months have passed. They use bots and do not return calls or emails. I would not recommend this company.
We purchased several CleverCards as Christmas bonuses. One of the cards cannot be activated, and we raised a query regarding this issue on the 24th of December. Despite sending several follow up emails, the issue remains unresolved. As a result the card remains unusable, and the intended recipient has not been able to benefit from it.The lack of communication and resolution has been very disappointing. We are simply looking for this matter to be addressed and resolved properly, by either activating the card or cancelling it. Based on our experience so far, we cannot recommend the service.
