Everything I have tried to cultivate has thrived. My emphasis has been on the flowers, and they have all flourished remarkably, lasting for months. Some started off slowly and appeared small for a while, but eventually, they seem to establish themselves and - BOOM - a growth spurt occurs, leading to an abundance of flowers. I've just introduced a wild strawberry as my first non-flower, and I'm hopeful it will do well.
I am very dissatisfied with this indoor gardening system. It is marketed as a simple, low-maintenance option, but the reality is quite different. The system requires a lot of upkeep, underperforms, and wastes a significant amount of water. Despite following the guidelines closely, I faced ongoing issues such as algae growth, weak plant health, and persistent problems that demanded constant attention. This completely contradicts the idea of an “automated” garden. My experience with customer support only added to my frustration. The resolution process was lengthy and unhelpful, ultimately concluding with the assertion that it was “too late” for a refund. This approach seems more like a tactic to wear down customers than to provide genuine assistance. With excessive water consumption, continuous maintenance challenges, ongoing algae issues, and unhelpful customer service, this product is overpriced and overhyped. I truly regret my purchase and would not suggest it to anyone looking for a straightforward or sustainable indoor gardening option. Save your money and your water.
It's somewhat enjoyable to grow small plants with this system, but I wish there were variety packs available—like 3 different plants in one pack. Purchasing multiple packs for variety, along with shipping costs, quickly adds up and becomes too expensive. I recently bought 2 packs, and with shipping, my total was nearly $50.
I am very dissatisfied with the indoor gardening system. It is advertised as an easy, low-maintenance solution, but that couldn't be further from the truth. The system requires excessive care, performs poorly, and consumes too much water. Despite closely following the instructions, I encountered persistent algae growth, weak plant health, and recurring issues that needed constant attention. This completely contradicts the promise of an “automated” garden. The customer support experience only added to my frustration. The resolution process was lengthy and unhelpful, ultimately ending with the claim that it was “too late” for a refund. This feels more like a tactic to exhaust customers than to genuinely assist them. With the high water usage, ongoing maintenance, persistent algae problems, and unhelpful support, this product is overpriced and overrated. I genuinely regret purchasing it and wouldn't recommend it to anyone seeking a simple or sustainable indoor gardening solution. Save your money and your water.
It's a fantastic concept, but unfortunately, it doesn't fully deliver: 3-6 out of every 10 pods fail to grow, even when they are brand new (and if they're a few months old, usually nothing grows). The pods appear poorly made, often with seeds left on the outside or completely missing. It would be much better to offer empty pods and seed sets instead. Also, why sell boxes with 9+ pods? The minimum seems to be 3, which is excessive—why not allow customers to choose or provide sets with just 1-2 of each? Overall, it’s a good hardware setup with disappointing quality control. I hope another company starts making the pods so I can still enjoy indoor gardening. I'd use it much more if the plant quality improved.
Two out of three strawberry pods failed to grow. They look dead. The online request for a replacement is very lengthy. They asked for a serial number, but I don't keep packaging or remember when I planted them. I just know that 2 out of 3 didn't grow. It seems hit or miss, and I'm not convinced about this system.
This is the first review I've ever written for a company. The customer service has been terrible. I've ordered from this company for years and have recommended them to family. My last order was mistakenly sent to an old address due to a glitch in their system. My current address is the default, so I'm unsure how that happened. No replacement or partial refund was offered, just a series of unhelpful email replies. There are other companies selling hydroponic pods, and I plan to switch. I may even try making my own. Very disappointing customer service over a $50 order.
