I can't believe how easy C.B.G. made this and how hassle free it was. I found the car that I wanted on the A.A. Website. Start the process and " PING " A large cloudy bloke wearing some Arabian fancy dress outfit jumped out of my kettle with my new Mercedes. Brilliant experience from Start to finish. Thank you all involved.
Initially I was extremely impressed. I made an enquiry online and within half an hour I had a phone call with the finance broker and things were great. I was happy with the first offer and agreed to the monthly payment amount instantly. My application process continued and progressed to the next stage and contracts signed. Very pleased with this swift process. Timescales advised due to the bank holiday and so I was not going to chase the customer service team or the selling dealership.The following day, I received a phone call from the finance broker to advise me that there has been a problem with the agreement with the lender and now, in order to proceed, I would need to sign a new agreement with a higher APR and of course meaning, higher monthly payments. Due to needing to purchase a new vehicle quickly (own circumstances) - I felt as though I was left with no other option than to agree. A deposit had already been left with the dealership as advised by the broker and so what other option did I have? I have not been provided with any reason as to why the APR needed to be changed, just a generic apology and ‘is what it is’ approach. Overall, not a terrible experience but not happy about the lack of transparency and last minute change of agreement.
