I have purchased numerous products from Envato aka code canyon over the years, via theme forest and code canyon, for both myself and my clients, all of which are fully paid for and licenced.I recently purchased 1 product which I was not able to use as intended or get any useful help or responses from the vendor, who also have a reputation of being quite rude and arrogant. So I requested a refund from Envato.They refused and were being difficult, so I lodged a dispute with Paypal to get my refund.If you lodge a dispute with Paypal, Envato will immediately block your account and your access to any of the products you have ever purchased from them (not just the one you are disputing), even though you own them. This means you cannot download any of those products you own or any updates for those products or access the support you may have also paid for.I assume this also blocks API access as well, so any automated updates from the websites using those products will also no longer work.This is basically blackmail and extortion, which is illegal.
They don't hold scammy developers accountable for their rubbish practices. E.g secondary licensing, and they don't refund ANYONE. Also their support takes 5+ days to respond - Stay away from codecanyon, find another marketplace that appreciates you - Envato doesn't and they won't in the future either going by their historic changes and terms & conditions....
Worst service for developer i never recommended this s**t company ever to anyone theauthor fee is to much high what you sell for and the price is let not talk about it scam scam scam platform there to ruin your carrier fcked up with this company u recommended piecex.com with good ai system
If you want buggy AF plugins, that is developed by seemingly preschool kids, than this is your place. After giving full data of the bugs founded, issues with the code, default settings that can't be cleared in the fields, very bad documentation, and support not really helpful, I requested a refund, but was refused a refund by the code author. I was not able to get a refund. So money is lost. Highly recommend you purchase plugins at a more reputable site and the side hold their coders Itheir market place to a higher standard. CodeCanyon does not as seems like a scam. This is where you will get taken for a ride and you will NEVER get your refund on the buggy AF plugins even if you provide all the details and they can't fix all the issues your present then.
I bought the WordPress theme from codecanyon.net . When I download there is nothing for payable . I request the developer to modify it but he assist me to send him refund request I sent and he approve the request but I have not receive my refund codecanyon.net got my payment and not returning me I also sent him many emails but not receive any response ..codecanyon.net is a scammer website..Please not buy assists from there ..
