I had a creative idea for a custom shirt, uploaded my images, and received exactly what I envisioned within a week (even living in Denmark). It matched the preview perfectly. The design process on their online platform was also very enjoyable. I'm very happy with the result.
I had a fantastic experience with this service. The products I ordered were of high quality, and the team worked diligently to accommodate my custom requests and deadlines. I was kept informed throughout the process. I will certainly be ordering from them again.
Contrado did not print my item, I paid extra to get next day delivery so when nothing arrived I phoned them- despite their online info saying the order had been printed it HAD NOT. I was promised it by 12pm the next day (I needed it urgently for a work commitment) but it still didn’t come. Now they still owe me money back for the non postage but they won’t get back to me. Appalling
Contrado have let me down badly and now owe me money. They have repeatedly failed to resolve my issue (online it appeared that my order had been printed and was on its way but in fact they had run out of the fabric so nothing was happening!) so I am now going to trading standards. It used to be a good company so I don't know what is going wrong but I advise you not to order from them. GO ELSEWHERE.
I'm sure you have all read the dire reviews about Contrado over the past two years. When the company first began, it ran brilliantly. The reviews from 2003 till 2021 are unrecognisable in comparison with the reviews criticising the company today. Clearly a huge shift has occurred within the company, and it's likely that the company has transitioned to an AI system. It's too much of a coincidence that hundreds of businesses worldwide are suffering the same criticisms, are not improving, are losing custom and keeping a percentage of the customers money, whilst also offering a derisory percentage off for the faulty goods. This isn't customer retention practice, this isn't business practice, this is sheer mockery! So…..its time for all creative people across the world to regroup and think very, very seriously about the future and how YOU plan to produce your creative ventures and products. Remove the veils from your eyes and stop depending on the machine. This POD mode of creating business is slack and unreliable. Human beings working together as crafts men and women has always been the most effective and advanced method of working. It creates bonding, trust, reliability, develops skills and excellence in the long term. So return to using your hands and developing your skills by learning from one another. Learn how TO MAKE, DESIGN AND PRINT your stuff! Get away from the machine. What would happen if the internet went down? What would you all do? And if it returned and you had to pay increased prices just to go online, how would you afford to keep your businesses online? Start thinking creatively about the future and how to become future proof. The machine does not care if you sink or swim, survive or not, pay your bills or live under a bridge. And the only people benefiting are the people operating the machine. WAKE UP. Contrado is not the problem. YOU ARE. Your dependence on the machine has created a culture whereby people would rather gain a quick business fix and turn around, and so POD seems to be the solution. Nothing fast ever lasts. The quick-fix machine monster doesn't care about the chaos it's leashing on you and your work or business. So stop complaining and change. Because IT sure isn't going to change to suit you. Right now there are thousands of young people learning how to make and build and create. They're going back to basics because they're observing the fall out of this type of fast result dependency. They will eventually outwit you in business creation and retention. Because they will have skills you haven't gained from the slow race. Good luck.
Second time using the company. First for a custom lampshade and secondly for some custom bedding. The lampshade was very good but delayed several times before delivery, sadly the bedding is horrendous. One gentle wash on arrival as it had a chemical smell and all the image has run, faded, stained and looks terrible. We reached out to contrado who quizzed how and what we had used to wash the bedding. We sent them all the relevant information and they kept us waiting for quite some time before offering a resolution of “wash the bedding again” this doesn’t solve the problem. The bedding is a mess and cost over £100. They have now stopped responding to emails. I would warn others off using this company. Feel scammed and disappointed that my son’s new bedding isn’t perfect for him in his new bedroom.
PLEASE BEWARE OF THERE QUALITY CONTROL BEFORE ORDERING, ITS A DISGRACE!Absolutely terrible products and service from Contrado!. I bought 34 placemats for resale, every single one looked like it had been cut by a child with blunt scissors. They were wonky, uncut properly and just no care or attention given whatsoever. On making a compliant, I was asked to send photo proof of ever single placemat, which our employee did, and this took an hour to complete. An hour's wages they clearly will not pay for. Their response was, "they are handmade and hand cut and therefore useable". They will not accept responsibility, and offered us a 10% voucher, which is a complete insult. We will pursue a full refund via a chargeback with our card used, as they are NOT fit for purpose.
