I have today completed a house purchase. My experience with Core Legal has been refreshing. I received regular progress updates, and my emails and telephone enquiries were answered very quickly (usually the same day!). Lucy Briscoe handled everything, so there was only one point of contact, and I can't fault Lucy's professional and friendly approach to conveyancing. I have no hesitation in recommending Core Legal to anyone buying or selling their property.
A well overdue review but better late than never. We were recommended to Core Legal through our Broker, as they came highly scored in their service and cost effective. We were first time buyers so of course we took the recommendation from our broker and so glad we did. We were appointed to Mathew Dickinson and he took good care of us. The whole process was done through an online portal which at some points were abit confusing as we had never done this before, but Matthew and his team were always available when we called them for advice. As a whole, the process was quite simple. Core Legal worked quickly and we completed within 8 weeks. If you do read google reviews, ignore the negative comments because we really had a great experience and wouldn’t hesitate to use again. Thank you!
This was a sale of my late fathers bungalow which was quite traumatic.Lucy Briscoe was my main point of contact and what can I say....brilliant.She has been kind, caring and compassionate throughout the sale, basically held my hand !! as well as the reception staff. We used Core legal as our solicitors when buying our first home. As a first time buyer, the whole experience was very daunting, and we didn’t really know where to begin. Sofie Kenworthy and Zoe Walker at the Stockton branch have been amazing to work with whilst selling our house and buying a new house. Every email responded to immediately and no matter how silly I felt for asking, I was never made to feel this way at all. They have been brilliant, we finally made it into our bungalow. We absolutely had the best team, updates were great and I could relay everything to others who couldn't get info from other solicitors in the chain. Everyone was impressed with them and the speed at which everything was done, we honestly could not have asked for better. I have recommended them to anyone who will listen!!

Me and my partner had a very stressful experience when using these solicitors. A week before we completed, they refused to answer any calls and didn’t answer any of our emails. We were first time buyers and only wanted to know the next steps but were denied any answers. This was very stressful and resulted in me having to turn up to the office. They were also not getting back to the sellers solicitors resulting in myself getting calls from their estate agents as they wanted to know if I knew anything going on which I didn’t. Our quote was also changed and only found out when they sent the invoice through for us to pay as it didn’t match up with the original quote. I then had to call up and ask why my balance was over a hundred pounds over the original price. This in my eyes is very unprofessional and unacceptable.My solicitor was Ashleigh and the top solicitor was called suresh.Would never use again and wouldn’t recommend
