After a little trepidation about whether they would ship on time for a scheduled party, everything worked out as they said it would. Jumbo crabs were delicious, meaty, and well-seasoned. Price was very favorable compared to others. Would definitely order here again.
My family and I have been living in Texas for 20 years, yet we are all native Marylanders. (If that’s a word?) We have tried finding blue crab locally, yet it’s always boiled and/or with spices we don’t prefer. We had talked about having crabs shipped for years, but it always fell to the wayside for one reason or another. However, we finally set it up for my father in law, since he always talked about it and we wanted to surprise him. I can’t speak highly enough of how well thing went! From the packaging, to the quality of crabs we received. I would recommend having your crabs delivered the day of your event, as I was skeptical of what time they would arrive during the day and had them come the day prior. EVEN AFTER SITTING IN THE PACKAGING FOR CLOSE TO 24 HOURS THEY WERE AMAZING!!! We have plenty left over for tomorrow, and we will definitely be ordering again very soon! The crabs were meticulously placed in the styrofoam boxes, and then sealed in a box over top.
The crabs were a nice size, but some of them were old. Fresh crabs have whiter meat. For the price I paid i wouldn't get jumbo again. But the ones that were fresh they were good. I might use you guys for something else in the future
