My original scanner choice wasn't available. Alan offered a couple of different possibilities & sent the specs to compare to make my choice easier.
The scanner came solidly packaged (which, if you've ever used a tabloid scanner, is a VERY BIG deal...) & worked right out of the box with my Silverfast scanning software.
The seller sold a printer I listed online to a buyer in Florida. Then, he attempted to persuade me to assist him in misleading the buyer into thinking he had the printer in stock, falsely claiming it worked well because I had stated that in my listing. However, he had no way of knowing that before the sale. I refused, but he sent a shipping label indicating he was the return address, with the Florida buyer as the recipient. The buyer received the printer and used it to fix his own by swapping parts. When the buyer reported it as defective and sought a return, the seller lied again to the platform, claiming he had the printer in Washington and it was faulty. Yet, he never possessed the printer at any point. The platform then pressured me to refund the seller's money based on his dishonesty. Furthermore, the seller obtained my home address and shared it with the Florida buyer, misrepresenting himself as the warehouse owner. This means my personal information was shared with someone unrelated to my transaction. The owner of this platform is selling others' items while lying about their quality and delivery time. He appears to be committing fraud and evading responsibility. I sold him a functioning printer, but his buyer deceived him by swapping the defective parts. I discovered this because the returned part was significantly older than my original. The seller should be held accountable as his buyer manipulated the situation and requested a refund under false pretenses. I feel victimized by this company for a substantial amount, and the platform is complicit in sharing my personal details due to the seller's deceitful actions. Exercise caution; he is untrustworthy.
My experience with Alan was excellent. He was gentle and thoughtful in his inquiries and followed up promptly by contacting the tech department to ensure I received the proper replacement item. He was kind, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process.
