Review Time
Purchased a dining table (order #336196) for £1,100 and the whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
The table was faulty on initial assembly. Paid over £200 to get it installed (it was 139kg!). Danetti arranged a repair which failed to resolve the issue, and I had to pay a similar amount to have it dismantled and get the new one installed.
However, the replacement table also presented faults on setup. What should have been a simple purchase dragged on from September right through to the end of February.
Throughout this process I was repeatedly told goodwill would be considered, so it was genuinely upsetting to receive what felt like a patronizing and minuscule offer at the end of months of disruption. It simply does not reflect the repeated quality issues or the time and inconvenience caused.
For a product at this price point, I expected much better quality control and a far more proportionate resolution. I have 2 other family members that have had similar issues with products from them - repeated slipped delivery timescales, quality issues, and then no accountability AT ALL from the company.
I would think carefully before ordering higher-value items, or actually anything, from Danetti. I definitely won't ever be ordering from them ever again!
Similar to other reviews, delivery appears to be a significant issue. I ordered a bed, but only received a few parts. The company claimed the packages were sent, yet the delivery service stated they never got them. I had to spend hours reaching out to both parties, as neither wanted to accept responsibility.
The furniture is indeed stylish and attractive, but the delivery service has been extremely disappointing, perhaps the worst I've encountered. I've made multiple orders with the company, and each time there were problems. Initially, not all items arrived. Then, I received a call about an item I never ordered. On another occasion, the delivery team complained right away about the second-floor delivery. After a very uncomfortable exchange, they finally delivered the item, but it was damaged. I ended up fixing it myself to avoid wasting more time with such poor service. And this delivery service isn't complimentary! In the last three months, I've received many deliveries from various furniture retailers, and none were as frustrating as this one. Staff from other companies were courteous, and some even helped assemble the furniture to avoid damage. There's definitely room for improvement here.
Terrible experience with the company after spending a lot on a sofa and bed. Delivery times were changed multiple times. Two boxes of the bed were missing, and the couriers were completely lost, arriving six hours late. The delivery service was a complete disgrace and reflects poorly on the company. They wouldn’t bring the sofa past the door and left it out in the rain. Please consider this review before making any significant purchases from this company.
I ordered a sample that arrived quickly. I would love to order bar stools from the company, but unfortunately, the color isn’t quite what I was looking for. I appreciate the option for samples and thank you for the quick shipping.
Exceptional customer care. The sales advisor provided excellent guidance, even going downstairs to demonstrate the corner dining bench and take a video. They answered all my questions and were incredibly helpful. The phone was answered almost instantly—if only all businesses operated this way. Delivery was excellent and the packaging was superb. The product is high quality and as described. A wonderful experience.
