They give me 10yrs warranty but after installation of 6 month storage battery stopped working. I called them 100 times but they didn't come to sort it . Very disappointed waiting up to two years no one comes back Very bad service 😞
I was dealing with David thought-out this project. This was an upgrade of Solar with Battery a install. Overall communication was good, every time I called the office l I was able to speak to someone. Very happy with the install and performance of the system.
Deege have been a great help with my solar journey. The company was recommended by a neighbour who had had solar panels fitted by them three years ago. Having outlined my needs, David, the company MD, was quick to provide some good options, which were backed up with lots of useful information. In the event, I decided to accept a quote from another company based principally on cost. However, based on my consultations with David, I have no hesitation in recommending Deege to others like me considering installing solar.
1 year and I’ve harvested 3pence according to Myenergi and Octopus . Basically the system doesn’t produce electricity or the CT doesn’t work (current reader ) so if I am harvesting electricity it’s been going free to the grid. My electricity bill is £127 per month for two of us -Feb (although we have a new gas boiler for heating and hot water) and we are both at work 5 days a week. I was holding back the last £500 until I knew the system was working, but Kate persuaded me to pay it against my better judgement. Now it’s impossible to get anyone to get my system working even though i have Scott’s and Ryan’s WhatsApp’s , they are massively understaffed . One time Ryan told me he had to go to Exeter from Kent and back just to replace some batteries. Why would they not subcontract this out when they cannot cope? All the staff are friendly enough but overstretched. So frustrated that I emailed and threatened them to take the lot out and give me back my £10k back -seems that doesn’t phase them ! No response except “we will sort it. “The panels are like 14 months old and past their prime .If it was a brand new car you would simply return it , right! My brother recommended them , but now he’s moved and used another company because of my experience . Worst £10 k I’ve invested
This is part of the problem using local companies. My initial experience was great, but once they got you money, that it. They don't real seem to care about you and their response get slower and slower until it fall to zero response. I can recommend this company in good faith.

Over the last four years I’ve been investigating Solar and having lots of different companies come round and try and rip me off with ridiculous prices and not giving me exactly what I wanted Deege Solar was recommended to me by my colleagues Uncle who has been nicknamed the Solar guru!! after speaking to David the owner he came across on the phone as very honest extremely knowledgeable and completely agreed with what I felt I wanted on my roof which was quite Simply wherever the Sun is. I want as many solar panels as possible, apparently that was music to his ears. let me put this into perspective all other companies apart from David could only put six solar panels on my roof apparently.!! I now have 18😁 also David’s price was quite a few thousand pounds cheaper than everyone else’sAfter paying the deposit on the phone on trust only within a few weeks things started happening. I run my own business and have worked closely with electricians and roofers all my life and I know if they’re not at the top of their game this was not the case with David’s tradesmen. They were all at the very top of their game and very trustworthy to the point. I actually left my house for a couple of hours unlocked with three people on my property that I’d only known for a day and I was at peace the work and the product they have done and supplied is quite Simply 2nd to none I would highly recommend this company. Don’t bother with anyone else it’s not worth it.
Where to start with this absolute disaster? My Deege ordeal began in August 2024. Yes, you read that correctly: 2024. Whilst the right make & capacity inverter was installed, it was the wrong model: charging and discharging the batteries at a slower rate than I'd specified. Furthermore, the system pulls about a kWh of energy from the grid every day, even when I'm not at home and peak usage is only around 400W. This occurs regardless of the load placed upon the system or the fact that there is energy available in the batteries to service the load.Getting Deege Solar to respond is a herculean task. They're happy to pick up the phone when they're waiting for payment, but post installation service is atrocious to non-existent. Their phone lines are never answered and e-mails are blatantly ignored. It was October of 2024 before I could get a-hold of someone. The conversation started well, but things went downhill when we disagreed about the inverter discharge rate, with him ultimately, point-blank, refusing to do anything about it as it would cost him too much money.I was told it would be a further six weeks before a site visit could be arranged to correct the excessive power draw. I agreed that they could attend the week before Christmas. Things then went very quiet, so I e-mailed them in mid-December to remind them of their obligation: I got no reply. When the day of the site visit arrived, despite waiting in all day, no-body arrived, nobody e-mailed and nobody called. By this time, I was not exactly surprised.I logged a complaint with HIES, only to learn that Deege had ceased to be a member since 2023, although their website still claimed membership (as a result of my notifying HIES, it no longer does). I've subsequently logged a complaint with MCS, who have referred my case to NAPIT. At this point, Deege did at least come to the table. In light of my experience, I was offered a “system upgrade”: the 6kW Growatt inverter would be replaced by 2 x 3.6kW inverters operating in parallel. This installation was supposed to take place in April 2025, but after their installation team turned-up without any kit, then the wrong kit was delivered, along with numerous other issues, I was left operating on a single 3.6kW inverter for a further three weeks before installation was finally completed in May 2025.It was around this time that I finally got my handover documentation (inaccurate), MCS certificate & G99 registration, but missed out on 8 months of export revenue.Problems persisted with the new system (some even getting worse) & Deege continued to ignore me. Proceedings were then escalated to MCS who served Deege Solar with MULTIPLE suspensions of their license, yet still I was ignored by Deege Solar. Eventually, in late 2025 I was contacted as it seemed they’d noticed there was “an outstanding customer complaint” (it’s about the only thing that is outstanding about this company): I imagine it’s hard to issue MCS certificates to your new customers if you’ve had your license suspended. I also wonder if this is not the first time they’ve had such license suspensions, given it took them 7 months to issue my own MCS certificate.A further “system upgrade” was then agreed & an installation date set. A week before installation, they called to push the date back three weeks, and then failed to attend the new installation date, without any prior notice whatsoever. Via NAPIT & MCS, I’m now claiming a full refund. If they don’t oblige, they’ll be paying solicitors fees and compensation, too.If you're reading this because you're scouting Deege Solar for potential business, I'd encourage you to go elsewhere. No matter what it is about them that is tempting you, re-read my experience and ask yourself if you want to go through the same thing: is it really worth it?
My story is a very long one which started with another company. But in December 2025 I contacted Deege to help with my Sungrow battery storage system. The fitters turned up beginning of January and replaced the Inverter as I was told by previous company that it was faulty. It turned out it was sabotaged, as company went broke. After Deege fitters left, hoping that all was working, I woke the next morning to find that the batteries had not charged overnight even I was on Octopus Intelligent Go. I am now on Octopus Go as my car (Mii) and wall charger are not compatible (sungrow EV charger box). Spent 4 weeks trying to help get the battery storage up and running. Nothing back from Deege.
