Deege installed my GSE in-roof 7KW system with GivEnergy inverter and battery last week. Deege is a family business and the guys who did the work were really personable and friendly. Panels installed on the Friday and electrics/ commissioning done the following Thursday. Was kept informed directly by Dave of the install dates and they were flexible and reliable. For me it was a great experience and I now have a fully operational system. Just awaiting the handover pack and DNO commissioning paperwork so I can sign up for a SEG tariff. Hopefully this won’t take long as I’m with national grid whom I’m told are quite a speedy DNO.
This is the second contract with Deege Solar, in September 2022 we had 12 solar panels and a 3.3 KW battery installed. Following a year of use we showed a 15% return on our investment and with all the environmental benefits we are back again to add another 6 solar panels and a second battery (still no VAT to pay). Again from the contact with David and the site team were great and professional with everything explained make sure everything was working before leaving the site. Thank you
Our Tesla power wall was installed on time before we went on holiday as agreed. David even sorted some software bugs whilst on his own holiday so when we got back everything was working as expected. David went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I would recommend Deege as they obviously care about the business.

Based in Essex they are local to my property in Kent.David (MD of Deege) promptly arranged an appointment on a Sunday morning, kept me in the loop when he was arriving and turned up in company uniform and a smart sign written van.We had a lengthy discussion on my requirements (Solar plus Tesla power wall x 2), he surveyed my roofs and went away promising a prompt quote. At this point I had given him a budget that i wanted to spend, and informed him that other quotes were also being sought.David replied that evening with a proposal, a map of my roof and a generous covering of PV panels.At this point I had the feeling that Deege installs were dealt with as if David were installing the system on his own property. There was a good attention to detail and all my technical questions were promptly answered. I had many technical questions about the Tesal equipment, to which David was able to answer instantly.Deege then proceeded with a formal quote, which although was a tiny bit more than I anticipated spending, I was happy to accept. I paid a deposit using credit card, and an install date was scheduled.Deege were able to install the system roughly a week earlier than had been arranged, I was happy to be flexible as I work from home.The install proceeded, and due to convenient weather and prompt, professional roofing installers, the roof install was completed within 2 days.The power walls were delivered, installation required two days and a further half day for commissioning. Throughout the install, all of the guys from Deege were professional and courteous.My property was left clean and tidy and follow up communication has been prompt.I would thoroughly recommend considering David and the team at Deege Solar for any renewables projects you have in mind.
Knowledgeable sales team, receptive to own research and keen on explaining both jargon and why some decisions are better than others. No pressure-sale tactics, genuinely recommended what was needed and the best way to achieve it. Installation had some scheduling niggles outside their control, but well managed by the team. Panels went up very quickly, and wiring decisions were well thought out. A few technical tweaks after installation were resolved in the next days, with the team receptive to feedback. Proposed equipment is of top quality (Hyundai Panels, Growatt Inverter and batteries), and Deege’s premier relationship with Growatt is reassuring. As equipment warranties are long-term, it’s also reassuring that Deege is a big enough company to be around for the long term, but not big enough to have lost that drive for really good customer outcomes. Sometimes the team can be hard to reach via phone, which is a tad frustrating - perhaps a slightly better telephone system could help. Nonetheless, apart from the niggles above, it was a complex project made to look simple by the team, and the 5 star rating is fully deserved. We’re looking forward to many years of savings and maybe helping this blue dot just a little bit. We would unreservedly recommend Deege for your solar project.
We have just had a 6.8 kW in roof system with 2 x 5 kW Growatt batteries installed by Deege Solar. Right from the get go the Deege team were lovely to deal with. Rod explained everything, system requirements, options, pricing and timescales etc. Kate was very helpful getting us booked in as soon as possible and ensuring everything lined up. Dave and the team installed the system with care and skill making the in-roof system fit perfectly into our pan tiled roof, beautifully pointed. The batteries and inverter neatly installed in the loft area and all looking lovely and producing energy. The tech is nicely set up on a smart phone app to monitor and review. All of the Deege team have been a pleasure to deal with and I can’t thank them enough for their efforts getting it all sorted right before Christmas.
