Noticed my card was due for renewal - logged in but no option to renew - the yellow banner that I was advised would be visible was missing - emailed DDS and eventually - after the card was now void, they suggested some steps - which did not work, another email saying they were sorry - others had "technical problems" when failing to renew - fault was in the DDS system but could I give them info like make of my pc -OS and any software that might be a problem....if DDS say the problem is their system then the problem is not my system - so why ask about MY system!!!!DDS seems to be both BLR and BERNo way am I wasting any more effort on a useless system - I specialised in Administrative Efficiency and Accuracy - it was a core component of my job.Not renewing - even if I could
My old Defence Discount account had lapsed and I wanted to see whether I was eligible for a new one. As a retired MoD Civil Servant of 40 years standing I was hoping that I could but John explained why that is not currently possible with the rules set by the MoD. Realising my frustration, John informed me that I was now eligible for a Blue Light card and duly took me through that application process. John was a pleasure to work with, helpful, polite and quick to get things processed to a successful conclusion - Thanks John.
I contacted the help team by email after having some password reset problems when using the app. I was really impressed with their same-day response, especially as Reece even kept the ticket open until he heard back from me that everything was indeed fixed.
Needed to renew my damaged card and was having little trouble resetting my details online. Quick email to John at DDS and he quickly sorted my problem out and got my replacement card arranged.Excellent service all round and love the benefits of having a DDS card. Big thanks John.
I had trouble accessing the page required to purchase my discount card when following the link from my account - the page just kept hanging. After exhausting all my efforts one email to Support saw John email me back after some computer wizardry and the pipe was unblocked. TVM. Card purchased and verified seamlessly and quickly after that.
This website for former and current serving forces personnel was a welcome find.
