As I was unable to validate my card or pay for it. I asked if my account could be deleted so I could re apply
This was done quickly and the process to re apply was easy via the website and finally the app, my card was validated next day and I have paid my due £5.00 and my physical card has been printed and is on the way.
Excellent service, even though you have to do it on line.

Let DDS know of discounts missing from list.

Portsmouth Royal Dockyard offers a 30% discount to DDS card holders but wasn’t mentioned on the DDS website/App. An email to the team yielded a success. And the team had the courtesy in letting me know when is was updated. Well done.

Ripping off ex service people

Bought a reloadable card for a trip away and loaded it with money. When to use it in the restaurant and the pin is missing 2 numbers. We called the number provided with the purchase through defence discount to be told there is nothing they can do! The second person said because the card was activated we have lost the money and the third person laughed! Defence discount are no longer contactable as they have switch off their phone lines so I guess it will have to be a charge back through the bank. You pay for this card and you don’t expect a company to rip off ex service people. Wonder if the press would be interested
