Review Time
This is a contractor that VW uses to service warranty claims. So VW is not servicing direct, they are using a contractor wherein Dent Wizards must receive approval from VW. We paid extra in our lease to have this repair service available, for any paint scratches or minor damage.First time we booked, the technician did not turn up. Next booking, the appointment was rescheduled last minute (queen's death) and booked over 30 days later. They came out, did a survey, never contacted us again and never followed up for an appointment to actually fix.Only after threatening breach of contract, they came out 1 year later, right before we had to hand the car back, and did a partial job... and we still had to pay £198 with VAT for "minor paint" damage.I honestly do not understand how companies like this are allowed to trade.
As so often repeated here, terrible customer service, huge issues with mis management, and when they get it wrong WOAH!!! They dial the bad attitude up big time! One repair technician frightened me and made me feel very intimidated and did it on a Ring doorbell camera…did he realise or care you ask!!! Yes and not remotely…they still employ the guy which says a huge amount…along with the frequently noted bad customer care…about the customer care policy of Dent Wizard 🤗🤗🤗
This is the second time I have had to use this company due to my insurance when I purchased my vehicle. Both time have been a nightmare. The technician was good and I have no issues with the work they carried out. Their so called planning department is incompetent. The first time I used them i explained I was only at my home address 2 day a week. The same days to make it easier for them. It took me calling them 6 times before they offered me an appointment on the days I had specified. This time they were meant to be coming tomorrow and the technician called to ask if he could change the day as the office had booked in more jobs then he was able to do. I said NO this has been booked for a month and I have taken time off work. As I am self employed this is costing me money. Then their planning department just sent through a new date without any communication. I called and they as good as said tough. They do not care and now I have placed an official complaint with them. I told them they can cover the £60 excess I have to pay due to their incompetence and not even having the decency to call and explain anything. I will also be calling my insurance to lodge a complaint with them as well. They have the worst planning department and customer service I have ever encountered 🤬
Don’t work with this company. The technician was a no show for my appointment. I was given no rescheduled date or time, no accommodation for my wasted time. I had to keep calling dent wizard to see what was going on. I talked to the manager, Ryan who was very rude. All he did was make excuses and talk over me. Ryan insinuated that it was my fault because I’ve gotten this repair done multiple times already and that I didn’t reach out sooner. Doesn’t matter how many times I have this repair done, it’s unlimited under warranty- that’s why I paid for it. I reached out immediately, your staff just didn’t notify you. I had to when I realized a manager wasn’t aware. He said that even if someone showed up, they would send me away because it was an issue that they couldn’t fix… it’s a cosmetic issue on the tire that I’ve gotten done two times before with them. I think if someone did show up, the service would have been provided. It’s just another excuse. The communication, customer service, and effort this company has is horrendous. I just keep getting excuse after excuse on why they can’t fix my car, why they didn’t show up, why no one has answers for me. Don’t spend your money on them. A customer should feel satisfied after their experience even if there were bumps in the road. This is not the case.
Dent Wizard came to the rescue after the company that had been booked to originally repair my alloy (Revive! UK) didn’t bother to turn up. I received regular texts leading up to the repair letting me know all was going to plan and the engineer contacted me the night before my appointment to give me a 2 hour slot for when he would turn up. I have to say that Adam the engineer was brilliant (regret that I didn’t get his surname to fully name check him)! He has carried out two alloy repairs for me and both times, he was really helpful, pleasant and a credit to the company. Highly recommended!
