Leaving a 1 star simply to inform people of what a trash game this is. If I could give zero, I would. My partner and I tried to play this game and kept think my we were missing sheets of information, but it’s just really poorly written and poorly planned. I made a joke at one point that the culprit would be a 6th, unnamed and/or briefly mentioned character. Guess what, it was a more or less unnamed, briefly mentioned character. Seems like an early AI wrote this. It’s really really bad. Do not buy.

My husband ordered the 10 game bundle for me for Christmas and paid their expedited shipping to arrive well before Christmas. It arrived over a month late after multiple emails and is missing items. So far no further response in regards to the missing parts of the order. It looks nothing like the pictures and the “gift wrap” is basically a white plastic bag with the word “Evidence” printed on it. It also arrived with one of the card games spilled all over the inside of the package. Do not bother wasting your money.
Bought the 3-case detive bundle a week before Christmas for a Christmas present and paid for expedited shipping ($7). The website showed they had the item in stock. Two weeks later (after New Years) there was no email that the item had been shipped. I contacted them by email and they said they had elevated orders and we're behind (which means they were off for the holidays). A week later I received an email notification the item was shipped. Another week later it had not arrived. I checked the tracking info and it was shipped by DHL ground and was not scheduled to arrive for another week. I just got the product. It took 12 days for ground shipping and I paid for expedited shipping. It took 5 weeks to get an item that was supposedly in stock. They never offered to refund my extra shipping charge or any other compensation. They will not get any more of my business, nor will I recommend them to anyone else. There are better companies and their products can be purchased through Amazon.
Same problem as everyone else. Delayed shipping, order was meant as a Christmas gift so when it was delayed I asked for a refund. Was told couldn’t refund my purchase until I recieved the product. When I finally received it Jan 19th I immediately emailed requesting a refund. No response whatsoever. I’m disputing the charges and throwing this BS in the trash. Scam do not waste your time and money
Buyer beware!! To the ones who actually received your product, you were lucky. We placed our order 5 days before Christmas because they advertised "order today, receive before Christmas"... I guess they were referring to the "free bonus" that we received which was a simple kid game emailed.. Not quite what we paid for ($99 plus.) for the 3 game bundle. Customer service is one of the worse I have ever seen for a small company. You'll get an initial reply of "we are a small family business, overwhelmed with orders" and then you won't hear from them again. It is now January 13th, and still no product (exact purchase date was Decemeber 20th, 2025)And yes, I paid for the Christmas gift wrap.. and the faster shipping option... the need to change the 1-4 day shipping to 1-4 weeks. Will never do business with again. A week later, we purchased murder in Prague instead, and it arrived 2 days later. And a much better experience than this ever could have been. Save your money and get something better from a more trusted source.Purchase at your own risk.
I ordered $100 worth of mysteries almost a month ago and have yet to receive them. Email responses from them have been either vague or downright false. It's impossible to reach them directly by phone. I am beginning to doubt I will ever receive what I paid them for.
Love the idea, but pretty much to thinking this is a bit of a scam. Ordered a week before Christmas with the webpage literally promoting delivery by Christmas. Watching the tracking on line alerted me to the scam that I fell for. Shipping label created reasonably quick, but several days to get to shipper. All in all 3 weeks order to delivery. Further suspicion from the web page, which always shows the exact same number of units available. Nice trick to motivate you to order. Not a technique that credible businesses use. Then, finally upon receipt of the final package, it was positively underwhelming; A flat envelope of paper. As marketed the images suggested a much more robust kit with props and such. Overall, even with 70% published discount, this is probably priced 3-4x more than its worth. So glad I didn’t go all in with one of the bigger kits.
Extremely disappointed. The idea is great, a fun way to hang out and solve a mystery. I had a date night ready to go and a bottle of vino. Open up the game it says to go to this cipher website and asked for a password. Guess what? You never signed up!!!? So you think clock on forget password but guess what the stupid link is dead. Date night over. I look for a while to find my order and send email asking for my password. I get an automated response that has nothing to do w my password. I respond to that email and nothing. Not a single human being checking the emails. I am asking for a refund no wonder there is no phone number to complain.
