I have used Customer Services online trying to assist my mother. I always have the same poor service. When using the online system it takes ages to get through, then when I do it will take at least an hour for the officer to take my details because of the long waiting in between waiting. Flooding that I then get told that I will have to be transferred and would inform the next officer of my problem. I have to wait again then when the officer is online I am asked for my details all over again. I wasted over an hour online to achieve no progress stuck at the same stage, its ridiculous. Jamaica needs some competition and we the public need other choices so that we can go elsewhere.
1. Ordering the internet service and having it installed great. 2. Billing service great. 3. Trying to cancel service nightmare: 3 months of trying due to moving locations. Being shifted from dept to department. 4. Need a contact number to be able to cancel the service. ..yes, 3 months charge has been added to my bill after talking to custermer service ...we need to talk to another dept to cancel...need to talk to another dept to do something else before we cancel...help 3 months now calling to cancel
I was a student at UWI in 2006 completing a Bachelor's Degree and all of my friends complained about slow internet and internet dropping. Fast forward to 2025 my kid is completing a Bachelor's every freaking night the internet drop. Flow is an embarrassment. You can't sustain a university? Leave the internet business then. Imagine this university allowing this to happen for decades. Like are you on 1 GB plan?
Give people the service and modems they need. Stop delivering old crap modems, that used to be on retirement. The service they all read from a pre written code and copy paste that in the chat. It's every time the same.Stop only thinking about money, provide better service.
