Review Time
This is the first but not the last time I ordered equipment from Dive Right In Scuba. It was actually a great experience and I am very pleased with the service I received. I ordered a Light Monkey 20aH battery and a Dual Outlet Valve for power and air. The next day I was immediately informed that the supplier was out of stock on the battery for the next week.( This did not surprise me since freight is held up everywhere globally these days). However, I was kept in the loop on what was happening with my order at all times and I was given a tracking number. I live in eastern Canada and in just over three weeks I received my order. It was packaged in a way that nothing could have broken it in the mail. The price was fair and the service was nothing less than Excellent. I will be buying future equipment from this shop and the main reason is that I am a senior citizen but still love to dive, however I find that these days, not a whole lot of people are friendly and kind or have the time it takes for a proper conversation to get thins straight before and after purchasing equipment. Bravo ! Dive Right In Scuba.
The folks at Dive Right In Scuba are great from the least experienced to the highest level you walk in treated with respect. There isn't any upsell. Just what will you will need or wished you had bought at first. I put my live in the instructors hands many times with full confidence and will continue to do so.
We were looking to buy our first back plate and wing, they let us come down and try one of the employee's setup in there pool, to see if we would like switching from a vest style BCD. We ended up loving it and buying all of our scuba gear from them. We had some problems with our regulators and second stages. I talked with Bill about our issues, they ended up fixing everything for free and even exchanging our secondary air sources to a better model. Bill was great to work with, he got back to me right away with answers to my questions and fixed everything quickly before we left for out trip to Jamaica. Dive Right In will get all of my business from now on. You can tell they care about you having quality gear and being safe underwater. Special thanks again to Bill.
Ordered 2 cuffs and a neck seal w/2 cans of Drysuit Glue - and a form for the repair - a year ago. Then talked with my Cardiologist, who told me that under NO circumstances should I be in such cold water that required a dry suit.Tried to return these items yesterday, but was told "No, they're outside our Policy of 120 days return."Granted they're way outside of their "Policy", but when I'm restricted (at least twice) from using my Dry Suit, I would have thought that they shop would have made an exception for me. Guess not. So, beware that you don't run up against their iron-clad, no excuses 'Policy' - and make doubly sure you really want to deal with them, since (of course in my opinion) they're being a bit unreasonable.
