Review Time
I ordered weeks ago and my credit card was charged immediately. I have been getting regular emails saying that they have supply chain issues. I saw their low acid coffee in Costco the last time I was there and did not buy it because I expected that sooner or later I'd get my coffee. I decided to cancel the order because I figured out that if they really had supply chain issues I would not have seen the stuff in a Costco. This is too bad because I like the coffee. I've decided in the future after this experience that any company that charges my credit card before they ship the goods needs to be eliminated from my list.
Placed an order over a month ago and I am still waiting for it to be fulfilled. They did take my payment right away but are blaming the delay on supply chain issues. It seems from other reviews those issues have been going on for years. I haven't cancelled the order yet, but am close. It does feel like they might be having financial difficulties and be headed toward another bankruptcy. It's too bad as I hear their coffee is good. I will update if I receive the coffee.
I love their whole bean decaf and I order the 5lb bag plus a 1lb bag, but I am coming up on 4 months waiting for my order. I just keep getting emails saying they have supply chain issues. I have called numerous times, but no one gives you any information onthe phone they just tell you they will send your message to shipping and have them call you, but of course no one calls back. I am debating on getting a refund, but I keep thinking ok maybe it will come soon. If I get a refund it will put me at the back of the line. In the mean.time I tried a different brand and it was terrible. I am now used to the strong chocolate and honey notes in this coffee. It is also a medium to dark coffee and the other I ordered was medium with fruit notes.
Coffee is great but order fulfillment is beyond acceptable. To add to this frustration, now you can no longer speak with customer service or sales directly but rather a phone service center/person. Going into 45 days since I placed my order and no sign of it being ship soon.Don Pablo Coffee needs to fix this issue promptly or will lose customers.
I enjoyed my coffee when I first ordered from Amazon but after just receiving one order directly from Don Pablo I have been charged twice and received no product just emails stating there are delays fulfilling orders. I have canceled my subscription and managed to get my credit card refunded the two charges. Hopefully when things get straightened out I can be a customer again.
Email I sent to the company..I received with much dismay your notification of yet another delay in fulfilling my order from March 4th of this year. I’m nearly out of my favorite and only coffee that I’ve been buying for the last 16 years. The claim of supply chain issues doesn’t fly for me. Why even at the hight of the pandemic I had experienced no delivery issues much less one of 23 days so far. Additionally I see Costco has no problem getting their order fulfilled by you and find it not coincidental since Don became a Burke brand. So here it is not even 6AM and I’m once again asking for you to please expedite my order.
Adding on to what others have said. Great coffee. Unreliable delivery and poor customer service. I placed an order on 2/18/25, received an update on 3/3/25 saying the shipment was delayed because of supply chain issues, received the same message on 3/6/25. It's now 3/18/25 with no additional follow up. I tried calling DP customer service but received their answering service. Buyer beware.
